When I broke my knee 2.5 years ago, I saw Dr. Gersten at South County Orthopedic Specialists. He was someone I found and liked after going to some terrible doctors. Also, I went to physical therapy with Dr. Cary Costa at Full Motion Physical Therapy in San Juan Capistrano, although I'm not sure if he's still there. Another vote for Dr. Basich. She's very reasonable with treatments and I've never felt rushed. I appreciate that she presents treatment options and I've always felt like she has been a partner in my health instead of a dictator know-it-all.

I go to OCWM for ob/gyn in SC and use Dr Priesly (hip, current and very straight forward). For my primary I use Dr Wood. Like her, but sometimes there can me a wait in the office. I usually call before I leave and ask if she's on time or make first morning appointment.

That's actually 3 for Dr. Wood so far, she's in the lead! So, I'm recently 50 and very healthy (knock on wood, so to speak) -- only Dr. visits so far are really for annual physical and the yearly well-woman, which will now include the dreaded colonoscopy I suppose --- does she do those as a Primary Care? I really don't want to have to have separate doctors, I like all my info consolidated so one doc can see the whole picture.

If you bought ur health insurance after 2010 it is best to call member service and ask them for a list. Be careful when making appointments Drs office will tell you yes we take insurance but then you will find out they are not in network and you will be stuck with a bill. Make sure when double checking with them you specify if you have your insurance through CoveredCa. I just see it everyday how offices are giving false info and people get stuck with huge bills!
