Restaurant recommendations for Greek or Mexican - eastern suburbs to inner-west Hey guys!
Out on a bit of an adventure today and looking for a nice Greek or Mexican...

Alpha is an amazing Greek restaurant.

Corinthian in Marrickville. Looks crap, but tastes delicious, and relatively friendly on the wallet.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! We ended up in Watson's Bay and ate at Nautica. The food was pretty decent. We stuck to the smaller mezze plate/sharing food. Went alright! Would probably go there again if I'm in the area. Next time will have to try out these other ones :-)

Gymea has an awesome Mexican but it's not in the places you asked nor is this in time since you already ate :-(

Calaveras in Newtown has beaten every other Mexican place I've been to. More street food orientated, plus their micheladas are top notch, best I've found in Sydney so far, and closest I've had to micheladas in Mexico.

Apollo in Potts point? It's always full of people every day of the week, I guess it must be good. I haven't tried it myself though.

If you like to eat like a fucking animal, you can try Dos Senoritas in Crows Nest. The portion sizes are downright grotesque, but it's tasty and the vibe is nice too. I dig the place.

Baha Cantina in Glebe, I actually prefer it to Flying Fajita Sisters but both are good

I'm surprised Dos Senoritas in Gladesville hasn't been mentioned yet.
knifepar replied:
fling fajita sisters in gleve for mexican. A bit pricey but the sangria and fajitas were worth it!

The Cantina Bar in Balmain has Taco Tuesday, $5 tacos and tinnies!

Zeus in Drummoyne on Lyons Rd. Nice street greek type stuff, pretty cheap

Gyrodiko in Rosebery. They make a mean lamb gyros

Santorini on Oxford. Awesome food, reasonable prices. Having flashbacks of the $60 meat platter for two right now...
