Not to be a downer, but from what I know, based on numerous conversations with Legal Aid from January 2014 to June 2015, the don't handle Child Custody cases & they never have. That's according to information THEY gave me. I was told by so many people that they would help, but all I ever got was the same answer over & over again. I know someone commented that it's a case by case basis, but all they ever knew about my case was just that I had a case that I was fighting. It took me hiring a private attorney to fight & win custody of my 3 oldest kids.

563 322 6216 is their number. I had a protection order on my kids dad and that's why they were able to help me. You just have to call. Everyone s situation is different. If legal aid won't help I really don't think Barbara is that expensive. She's damn good and reliable though
