I don't remember either. Can anyone help?
I know this was asked about a year ago but I can't find the old post. I'm looking for suggestions for a good plastic surgeon....

Dr Ettinger
Sydney L. replied:
My mom has used two surgeons, one was Dr Ettinger, and would not recommend either of them. She highly recommends Dayton Skin Surgeons. But it depends on what your issue is - Dayton Skin Surgeons were excellent at facial plastic surgery due to skin cancer removal.
Susan J. replied:
Procedure matters. Dr Tran is very good. Dr Fox has been recommended to me by my surgeon who moved away and told me Dr Fox is the only one he would trust.
Laurie H. replied:
I can vouch for Dr. Apesos' skill. He is very good with a difficult case.

Dr Percy at Kettering is excellent

The absolute best is Thomas Percy he has a 99.9% infection free rate. He changes all bandages himself, he provides the best care. Just remember after surgury try to get appointments first think in morning, or right after luch, because he can get behind!

Here's a comment from a subscriber - I have been seeing Dr Todd Hicks for breast cancer reconstruction. Very personable and office staff is great. His office is by the Fraze. Easy to get to.

Go to Dr Apesos in Centerville. 435-0031. I use them for all my injections.
Barbara P. replied:
I had breast cancer and I went to Dr. Todd Hicks. Great staff. Very caring doctor.

Sharing anonymously: Dr. Steven Schmidt is OUTSTANDING! He took care of my mother's breast reconstruction following a double mastectomy. She was initially seen by Dr. Eslami at KMC. She had a devastating result. Dr. Schmidt was able to repair the damage done by Dr. Eslami. Her oncologist was the one who advised her to seek a second opinion with Dr. Schmidt. He does not have a great bed-side manner, but if the person is looking for great results vs. a friendly smile, he is your guy. You can understand, I am sure, why I did not want to post this on a public forum

Hands down, Dr Ettinger in Beavercreek is the tops! I had extensive surgery in 2007 and he has an awesome staff, too! He has a great personality and makes you feel totally comfortable!

I highly recommend Dr. Steven Schmidt. He does work with the Dayton Children's Cleft Clinic, and he did an absolutely amazing job on my daughter's cleft lip. She was 4 months old at her first surgery and 2 years at her second. If I ever decide to get anything done, I'm going to him! (On a side note, Dr. Fox is also in the same practice as Dr. Schmidt, and that is the same practice that Dr. Maupin was in, if anyone remembers him. I went to Dr. Maupin for mole removals, and he was also fantastic. That practice is just amazing!)
