This also happened with my Daughter. They added Adavan (sp) as a supplement during her menstral cycle and that helped. Raleigh Neurology Pediatric group is good, and there is also a support group here. Triangle Area Epilepsy Parent Support Group. They meet once a month and have speakers that hit on all topics. Wishing you the best.

My seizures also came back at an older age and weren't well controlled until I was put on two medications - Zonegran and Vimpat. I've tried Lamictal and pretty much everything else in the past. Sometimes it's just a matter of trial and error, as well as a good doctor. Barrow Neurological Institute is the best I've been to so far. Good luck to you and your daughter.
Jennifer T. replied:
Come down to Charlotte, and see Dr. Perumal. He is with Novant Neurologist. I live him! He she's my daughter who is 17. We do Lamictal, and Vimpat. He is a kind man, and I really respect him.
