We find Deland Animal Hospital very reasonable on their pricing. We switched to them because they were less expensive than the vet we had used for almost 20 years.

Call Walgreens in Debary, they had a shot advertisement posted recently. It was a mobile type company that does low cost shots. I believe it was called Value Vet Pet Clinic

Woodland Animal Hospital (Volusia Woods is their sister Hospital) and Floridawild Vet Hospital, both in DeLand. You may pay a little more at Floridawild, but they are a holistic vet clinic. If that's not what you are looking for go with Woodland Animal Hospital.

DeLand Animal Hospital is the best. The owners, Dr Tom McPhail and Dr. Debbie Ulbrich are terrific but all other Vets there are good. Open 24 hours!!!

Dr. Holder and her team at Florida Wild in Deland. Very caring and knowledgeable. Handles exotic birds etc The staff is so nice and kind and spends time with you.

The cheapest I could get the bordatella shot at DeBary Animal was $98, and that was using a tech not the doctor, because you can't just go in and get the shot. They have their packages...so irritating. So, I did go to Dr. Sheffield's office, got my pet the shot for $15. In and out and very happy about that. Making the change.

Dr Joe is a darn good Vet. He takes care of his animals like his own.

I absolutely disagree with you Joyce! Dr. Sheffield doesn't have the best bedside personality, he's not a Chatty Cathy, but he is very professional and a wonderful Veterinarian. If it weren't for him I would have lost my little diabetic Chihuahua more than once! Also, I took my Yorkie to Debary when I first moved here 5 years ago, he was in respiratory distress. After charging me over $700 my little guy died 2 hours after I brought him home!! He also botched a bladder stone surgery on my Maltese!! I would never go back to him, nor would I recommend him to anyone!!!

Debary Animal Clinic is the worst. Took my lab there when I noticed something on his side. Lab work, iv, biopsies, on and on...charged me way over $1,000! Never a diagnosis. Very unhappy. Went to AA since it was highly recommended...A BUG BITE. Needless to say, I'm not too happy with them!

Judy Slusser, sorry for your experience with Dr. Joe. We have taken our animals to him for years and am happy with the service. We did try Dr Sheffield when he first opened up, but really didn't care for him. No real problems, just didn't care for him.,

Dr Sheffield's bedside manner was not the best when I first went but now I even get a smile and giggle out of him.....but, he is an awesome vet and very smart and prices are fair. His staff of girls, Katie, Dawn, Liz and Victoria are the nicest bunch of girls. I've just popped in with no appointment and they take me right away. Luv them.

AA is awesome. Dr. Sheffield has really grown on me. Lol

Dr Joe Suarez is the best vet around, have been taking my animals there since 1987. He has the time to talk to you and your animal. Someone said he is too expensive, they all are too expensive. Animals cost as much as people anymore. Dr. Joe, great doctor

Best Animal Hospital I have found is DeLand Animal Hospital on Kepler and 92. The vets are great, they're open 24/7 and their prices are fair. Since I have German Shepherds and they are the go to vets for Volusia County K-9 that's another big reason I go there.

I have also moved to DeBary Animal clinic. Both Dr. Joe and Dr. Sam are caring and compassionate.

I love DeLand Animal Hospital. They are open 24/7 and if your a client there's no after hours fee. So, they are closest animal hospital in case of an emergency. Plus the doctors there are very compassionate and understanding..

Debary Animal Clinic is the only place my animals go. Dr. Joe and Dr. Sam are the best!

Be careful Debary is so expensive and will push un needed tests as will Newmans - but only certain doctors at newman are like that. Just remember to stand your ground and ask questions. De Cohen is the only one i have found that does not push tests and services that will not do any good.

I just got home from Newman's. Our favorite most caring Doctor is Dr. Evers.

I like Dr Sheffield but he takes a while to warn up to you!

It's a drive but I trust No One but Dr William Bradford from umatilla if u want ur pet child to live n thrive, it's worth the Dr. He's here every tues but ud have to go pick up fyi I learned short cut. Well worth it he's saved mine to many times. Love him

We take our dogs to DeLand Animal Hospital and they are great. The prices are fair, the staff is friendly and it's got a very nice hometown feeling.

Deland Animal Hospital. Reasonable prices, and they are open 24/7. No need to worry about finding a vet if an emergency arises.

AA on Enterprise. Dr. Sheffield and his staff are great. He doesn't push things on you either.

AAAnimal Clinic they are great. Switch from DeBary too costly.

I found AA Clinic just as expensive as DeBary Clinic. I switched to Banfield in Lake Mary at Pet Smart. I bought their wellness plan. Saves me lots of $. All visits included and all shots! Check it out online and do the math with what u spent last year. They are great there.., all staff. Extended evening hours and weekends too.

I'll never go back to Debary Animal Clinic, Terrible and costly experience.

DeBary Animal Clinic is very good! I've been with them for 18 years. First a Golden Retriever and now a small poodle mix. The staff is great. They have earned my trust time and again! I prefer good over cheap for my Fur Baby, but when I talk to others, the fees sound about the same.

I have been going to Countryside Animal Clinic since 1995. Love them all! Amazing group of doctors.

Dr. Sheffield/AA Animal Clinic. I absolutely love him. My mom started taking her old tom to him and I took my cue from mom and I took my old dog to him. He loves animals and he has a great manner about him when we as pet parents have to make that final decision for our furbabies. He also sends condolence cards out afterwards. When I took my new boy to him and told him that we thought he was at least half St Bernard he confirmed it and said I was going to need a saddle. He's right I have a very tall 14 month old pup who I could put a small saddle on him.

Definitely LOVE Countryside Animal Clinic. I have been going there so long, I can't even remember HOW long. Great doctors and wonderful and compassionate support staff as well. 386-736-9300
