Not sure about his charges but I like Dr. Niederkohr.

Central Avenue Eye Care, Dr. Cathy Pannebaker. She's great!
Gregory R. replied:
Steven Kocher
Carmen M. replied:
Kristen Campbell. She is the best and her staff is amazing.
Brandon F. replied:
Grace Free Clinic may be able to help...they have a couple of docs that volunteer time.
Stacey B. replied:
Most listed here are optometrists, ie: eye exam and get glasses/ contacts. If you need actual medical treatment for something about your eyes, then you will need an opthmalagist. Dr. Pannebaker, is an optometrist. But she is VERY THOROUGH. AND she has taught down at the optometry school at OSU. Plus, her office is non- insurance based. Check out the Facebook page & website!

Jemma D. replied:
I went to SAMs Club (in Dublinish area) and paid full price. It wasn't too bad. I would assume Meijer and Wal Mart have similar prices. Look for the sales they put out on frames. That really helps.
Thomas L. replied:
Vision care down town, I have been going there 20 years..I get me exams there and buy my glass at that dicount place in Coumbus that advertizes on TV. I ask for copy of my perscription...no insurance here also..
Scott uses Delaware Vision Care on Sandusky and likes it.
Diana G. replied:
I have gone to Dr. Zehnder with Advanced Eye Care Associates since I was 8. He is excellent.
Wes M. replied:
Thanks for the recommendations everyone! I've gone to Dr. Niederkohr for the past 7-8 years, but his practice does not accept our new vision plan.
Tammy M. replied:
Dr David Zehnder. I used to work there. He's the best optometrist in Delaware. If you don't like the prices on the high end frames, tell the optician you want to look at something more affordable - or just get your script and go elsewhere for your glasses. OR ...... go to Marion and go to Professional Eye Care. Doug McCloy is an honest Christian man and will treat you right! He has high end frames and less costly ones too. They will find the perfect match for you ... ( I used to work there too).
Any of my Delaware/ MD friends know of a good optometrist/ opthamologist? Any suggestions??
Vickki C. replied:
Not in Middletown...I am not sure, but I think Delaware Eye Assoc, like Dr. Barrett, opened offices down there or will be. In Wilmington, Dr. P. Olurin, just 3 min or so off Delaware Ave exit from I 95. I deal with eye docs all the time. But most are in Wilm. area.
