Best optometrist in the Columbus area that takes Tricare Prime and doesn't charge outrageous prices for glasses? Both my children & I need new ones!

I don't know who the eye doctors are, but get your eyes checked out and have the doc write your prescriptions. Go to zennioptical.com and order your frames!! Super cheap and great quality! I got 2 pair of glasses for under $50 (prescription, frames, and shipping). I cannot recommend them enough.

Zennioptical.com is the best!!!!!

I always seem to come back to West Georgia Eye care. They have been in business for 60 years . Dr Speakman is the best in the practice. May have to wait for apt as he books way ahead.

If you have insurance, you should probably start there. Find someone close that's in network.

Michael Schecter at Mill Run Vision in Hilliard does some Saturday mornings. They don't do Saturday hours but OSU has an Optometry Clinic over by the Wexner Med Center. Might be able to get in and out of it between classes.

Been years since I was in College, but even being full time there were plenty of weekday "windows" where I could schedule an hour appointment...it HAS to be a Saturday?

I’ve used Target Optical to get my prescription so I can order glasses online. They probably have Saturday appointments and the staff there was super nice.
I usually buy my glasses from Zenni Optical, cheap but good quality. I pay around $30 per pair for lenses and frames. I will never again spend hundreds of dollars for glasses.
I do not recommend getting glasses from LensCrafters, the 1 hour glasses seem tempting, but I bought two pairs from them and after a year each time there’s a peeling/scratching effect happening. Really annoying and hard to see out of. When I took them to LensCrafters they said that I took care of my glasses wrong even though I’ve been wearing glasses for 20 years and never had that happen before.

You can get exams at the student health center or the optometry school on campus.

Target Optical has been great for me, especially for Saturday appointments.

Find out who is in-network for your insurance before going to a random optometrist.

Try Costco. They are cheap & should have Saturday appointments

Did you check a lenscrafters or vision works? They would be more likely to have extended hours I think.

I go to eyes on high near giant eagle. Pretty nice people and good work. A trick if you don't want to spend a ton of money depending on how bad your vision insurance is world be to get your prescription and then buy glasses online.

I go to Mid Ohio Eye at Kenny & Ackerman. I see Dr. Doyle and love her. However, I don’t think she has Saturday appointments. There is a doctor there who does have Saturday availability. Just make sure they take your insurance.
