We have been living in Bali for 5 years and our family loves the area we living... it's Kerobokan, attached to Seminyak... there are very nice schools and child cares around... beautiful beaches, amazing restaurants and shopping too... we are actually leasing our house at the moment because, due to professional offer, we are going back to Australia soon... have a look at my post here... the house is very nice and super secure for a family to live... our daughter studies at Canggu School, inside Canggu Club, not even 10 minutes by motorbike... feel free to contact me if you need here on facebook or on my email pf@pfshots.com good luck!!

Sanur. The beach is best for kids, all sorts of daycare options, 2 co-working spaces, good access to other parts of Bali for day trips, generally safer than other expat communities in Bali. You should ask in the Bali mum and baby groups. For housing, depends on budget. You can contact me on tom@balimoves.com, my wife and I run a property agency here in Sanur. We have a few monthly places on our books, including a new place that would suit. Depends on your timing. We also have 1.5 children (second due in June). Wouldn't think about living elsewhere with kids. Other people like Canggu, I can't imagine why! :)
