Vaccinationstation.com This is where we get ours done at low cost. Their schedule is on the website.
Keller Animal clinic in Keller is awesome. Again, a long drive but that's the only one I know.
Chris A. replied:
Dr. Matt Murphy of CityVet Uptown is highly recommended. Also, if you can narrow down what area of northern Dallas, my contact can give a better solution perhaps so you don't have to drive 40 minutes.
Where to get my female dog fixed for a decent price and ASAP? SPCA is booked out until march :( thank you in advance!!
Karen E. replied:
Old Orchard Animal Clinic, they are great! In Lewisville behind Angelina's.

locals: I'm looking for a veterinarian who will come to the house. Tried Petcalls, but they don't return calls. Any other thoughts for vets in Denton?
Ed T. replied:
Please get a hold of Carol Harvey. She is a most awesome groomer, however, she just might have a vet for you. 940 594 2550. Good luck Shelly.
Catie R. replied:
These folks are not in Denton. They are in my area. However, I'm giving you the link because they may know vets in Denton who will come to your home. https://www.facebook.com/petslastwishes

For future reference Twitter is starting a new thing for just this type of situation. Ever just have a question and want to ask the world? http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2014/01/07/twitter-co-founder-unwraps-jelly-a-visual-social-query-app/?_php=true&_type=blogs&_r=0

I'm sorry to hear, Shelly. My fiancee and I used Beyond the Rainbow for our dear sweet Mandy back in January. They are based in Arlington, but the travel fee was not that much, and we simply could not have asked for kinder, sweeter people. All the services provided were excellent. They truly care. http://www.texaspethospice.com/
I have a question for everyone out there who are pet parents. I have a new kitten who will need all her shots, testings, and to be fixed. I currently go to VCA Angel and...
Lynda W. replied:
I use Angel Vet too. I've heard Cody Bullock in Denton is very reasonable on vaccines & heartworm medication. I've used Lewisville North Animal Clinic (Dr. Suzette Nygaard). You will like her!!
Melissa W. replied:
I recommend Dr Schaffer at Flower Mound Veterinary Hospital. He takes great care of my herd of 5. Costs are reasonable and he doesn't recommend treatment unless it is absolutely necessary. Very kind and compassionate!

Community Pet Outreach is affordable and there are often coupons that arrive in the mail, too. They are on Main Street in Lewisville.
Megan P. replied:
This is happening at Blissful Bark on 8/1.
Frank B. replied:
Used these guys multiple times and nothing is cheaper. Get them microchipped at the same time as well. https://m.facebook.com/TCforAP
Tami K. replied:
I use Main St. Vet on Main/Kirkpatrick. I just took our new puppy there and paid for the "Pet Wellness" program. It covers EVERYTHING even a spay/neuter surgery. Saves you about 50% on all costs! And you can pay a monthly payment or save and pay in full. It's a great deal and they are so awesome.
Mindy M. replied:
Pet Supplies Plus has low cost vaccination clinics every 3 rd Sat. They are in Lewisville off of 3040. There were two low cost clinics mentioned above. However, I go to Dr Lock at Cross Timbers. She is a cat expert. The rabies vaccine that they use for cats there isn't cheap, but it is pure vax and it doesn't have all the extra additives. She also will stagger shots and not do all at once. The clinic takes Care Credit (a card specifically for medical that doesn't charge interest for a certain period of time
Jessica H. replied:
Flower Mound Animal Hospital. Dr. Schaffer has way more affordable prices than Angel. My cats went to Angel when they were kittens but now they go to Dr. Schaffer at FM Vet. He is an amazing doctor!

I would recommend Banfield Hospital with PetSmart. Great deals and inexpensive.
Does anyone know the cheapest place to have a cat spayed? My vet quoted me over $200. I just don't have that kind of money but I sure don't want kittens!
Gladys L. replied:
Do you know if Dr. Gryder s still with them? She was who tried so hard to help with the cat who passed and this one we have now.
Robyn U. replied:
I am not sure but Dr. Erin and Dr. Lammers are amazing!
Audra D. replied:
Dr. Gryder retired to be with her family is what they told me....
Liz M. replied:
Bring it to Glen Rose, Terry Vet Clinic. They just spayed and neutered my two pit bulls and microchipped them and it was reasonable.

Peyton B. replied:
Mesquite Ridge does great procedures, but they left my cat in a cage SOAKED in urine, and gave him back to me in the same cage. I had to give him a bath hours after his surgery because they left him in his cage completely just covered in pee.
ISO a veterinarian in the Denton area preferably one that does not charge an arm and a leg.
Dana M. replied:
It's not in Denton but worth the drive. We have gone to Farmers Branch Animal Clinic for 20 years. Full shots for $30 and no office call unless you want them seen for other then their shots.
