Dr. Unger or dr. Lane at VCA angel vet. I've been with them for several years, through losing a dog with a brain tumor, losing a dog to vestibular disease, having to have an acorn removed from my pups intestines last year...they are amazing through all of it. I wouldn't trust my dogs with anyone else. I also recommend Flower Mound emergency vet by sprouts if you need to be seen today. We've unfortunately had to see them several times as well and they are always amazing.

Cross Timber Animal Medical Center saved my dog's live when our old vet wouldn't even see my dog. All 3 of our dogs go to them. Great practice. Both the vets there are amazing. Dr. Harvey is a veterinarian and a veteran. Double vet.:) They are caring and great with my animals. Only vet we will use and we've used 4 different vets in the 12 years we have lived here. We found a great one!

MedVet Grapevine Dr Ericka Pickens, internal medicene specialist is awesome.

I have a friend that is a vet in Colleyville and she is reasonable and EXCELLENT. It is a farther drive and I just had a cyst removed from my English Setter. She would be the only one that I would have operate or diagnose my girls. The name is Boulevard Animal Clinic and she is Dr. Williamson. She will exhaust every avenue for your dog. I have had dogs with several situations and only trust her to operate. One clinic in Flower Mound could not get my dog's ear cleared up and $2000 later I took the time to drive to her and she cleared it up in one visit. Lantana Animal Clinic is also good but I do not recommend the one close to the Whataburger. They were the ones that could not clear up my dog's ear.

O'Connor Veterinary Hospital in Irving. Dr Kang is the best! He's very knowledgeable and caring and his staff is amazing!!! He's saved 3 of our pups!

South Flower Mound Animal Hospital. Both vets there are wonderful. I had an old sick dog that I took there and not once did I feel they were overcharging me or milking me for money.

Our 4 dogs go to Dr. Mace at Vetsavers Pet Hospital in Carrollton. She's amazing. They are open now and can probably get you in today and they don't charge emergency pricing. In fact, they are very up front about pricing and you can even find the pricing on their website.

Center for Vet Care saved my dog twice from near death. She suffers from an autoimmune disorder that causes meningitis, very ill. We had good experiences with both treating vets but it did cost a small fortune. Sometimes these issues are hard to diagnose I would give them another chance instead of starting over with another vet.

We love Dr. Schafer!! He has not treated a sick pet for us, but, he is amazing with our dogs...one of which is beyond anxious. We have also used the vet ER by Sprouts on numerous occasions and always thought they were awesome for after-hours help! Whatever vet you select, I hope your baby girl gets better very soon!!

my dog had some version of crohn's disease or another autoimmune sort of thing affecting his stomach. he was treated by Dr Shaffer, who prolonged my dogs life by many many years. Dr Shaffer seems to have an instinct, coupled with many years of practical experience and a large dose of compassion. I would definitely give him a try.

Dr Bone in Lewisville. Saved my dog. He had seen another vet in Lewisville and stayed at the er vet in flower mound with wrong diagnosis. I took him to Dr Bone and he saved my baby that day. If we would've waited another 24 hours the ending result would've been far different.

Dr Bone is AWESOME! He treated my dogs auto immune disease and she lived 2 years longer than any vet predicted. He also treats all 3 of my other dogs, preformed an emergency surgery on one of them and save d her life.

Take her to the Dalllas Veterinary Surgical Center in Carrollton off trinity mills. It is a large hospital with a variety of specialist. It's the best in Dallas. They will figure it all out!

We have been seeing Dr Melmed, an Internal Medicine specialist at MedVet Specialty Hospital in their Grapevine location and she's fabulous! (Also lives in Flower Mound). Turns out our fur baby has a Liver Shunt. Prayers for your little one.

Timbervalley Animal Hospital is an amazing place! Dr Brian Grey is great and will be upfront with you about everything. Professional staff. You could not go wrong with him and his staff.

When I moved here 10 years ago I also had two senior labs. Went to Angel first but wasn't happy. "Interviewed" vets in the area and have been going to Dr. Lock at Cross Timbers ever sense. She is great and so is the staff, fits me in for emergencies. I again have two senior labs (and a 4 year old lab) and trust her 100%.

Have been with Highland Village Animal Hospital since 1994. I believe all the vets are Aggies, and at least one is also a military veteran which rates pretty high with us. Staff is also amazing!

South Flower Mound Animal Hospital. Dr. Catoor is an Aggie and Dr. Matlock, while not an Aggie, is an excellent vet. We switched after two terrible experiences at another local vet. This practice is efficient and I can't think of one time I've called and not been able to get an appointment and in walking in the door I have always been seen immediately. No waiting like other vets. Hands down a great group of vets!

Dr. Chris Carmichael and his wife, Dr. Lauren Carmichael are both graduates of A&M Vetinarian school. They worked in emergency Vetinarian care before buying Dr. Denise Doolittle's practice when she retired last year. So they are not as well know YET, but they will be! Highland Pointe Vetinarian Hospital at 407 and Highland Village Road. They are WONDERFUL!

I love Dr Lock at Cross Timbers Animal Medical Center. She won't do any unnecessary testing and the clinic does take Care Credit. I am not sure how they compare price wise to VCA but I quit referring to them when VCA took over because office staff keeps losing records.

Dr. Schaffer is the best vet in the county for small animals.

Go to Bartonville Vet Clinic, they are very reasonable and knowledgeable. I've been very happy, started using them a yr ago. If your looking for inexpensive vaccines, spay and neuter I take mine to TCAP in Denton, nobody beats their prices for that stuff.

We have 3 labs and use Angel, love them. Our labs range from 7 months to 13 years. We also have our puppy at Canine Courtyard for day play and they are wonderful. The staff is great and Hannah loves going there.

We have used South Flower Mound Animal Hospital for at least 15 years, with six dogs, one cat and a Bearded Dragon. Love Dr. Cattoor and Dr. Matlock. Their vet techs and office staff are all helpful and awesome. I miss Ida though. <3 www.sfmah.com

Even though I use South Flower Mound Animal Hospital, I know that Dr. Locke at Cross Timbers is also highly regarded in the Animal Rescue community.

I will weigh in here about Angel Vet due to a personal experience. My 16 year old cat was sick back in January. I took her to Angel Vet to determine what was wrong. I told them she was wheezing and loosing weight. They gave me antibiotics which I tortured her with for 2 weeks. Then they said it was her thyroid and sold us more medicine. When she wouldn't eat, we took her back. They FINALLY did an x-ray and discovered she was riddled with lung cancer and we had to put her to sleep that day. WTH??? If you had just done the x-ray earlier, the outcome would not have been different, but we would not have tortured her for 2 full weeks with medicine that wasn't doing ANYTHING for her!!! Won't go back with my other cat (who is also 16) and a new puppy we adopted a couple of months ago.

I've had good experience with Angel Hospital.

Recently went to DR. Bone in Lewisville. He was great and worked with me as I feed a raw diet and it is hard to find a vet that doesn't try and shut down raw feeders. I went to Dr. Pamela Hendricks YEARS ago and didn't like her at all. This was befo re I switched to a raw diet. She gave my Cocker Spaniel 6 months to live and said there was nothing that could be done. Switched to a raw diet and he lived another five years. I will be going back to Dr. Bone if I ever need to go back to the vet. Feeding a raw diet, those trips are few and FAR between.

Dr. Schaffer understands the price difference. Pet Supplies, 291 E ROUND GROVE RD STE 150, LEWISVILLE, TX 75067-3876 972-318-2381, has a list of when the Mobile vet will be there AND other places. And I get my Heartguard and my Capstar (flea pills) off amazon...way cheaper..Great cost savings.

Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) does low-cost vaccines, $30 for the set, no office visit or anything. Just fill out the paper, tell them what you want and they do it in their lobby. The back is only for surgeries. It isn't for regular visits, like if your pet is sick or if you need medication but if all you need is shots or dental or something they are by far the cheapest and I love them!

Both Dr. Harvey & Dr. Lock will match 1800PetMeds' $$$. At least have have for the last several years but you will have to sign a waiver.
