Does anyone have a recommendation for a good quilting supply / fabric shop that's not too far? We've been driving to Parker to get our goods...

Hi Mia. I quilt a lot and go to Holly's Quilt Cabin (Holly and County Line Rd), Creative Needle (South Broadway), and I would recommend checking Wooden Spools first also on Broadway. They sell "recycled" quilting fabric that they buy from people. I think they only charge $5 per yard.

I just ordered a bunch of fabric from fabric.com. It took me a few hours to choose everything. Otherwise I go to Joann because they have good coupons and an app for my phone with the coupons loaded already.

I have a part time job at Denver Fabrics and they do not do quilting fabrics anymore...Fancy Tiger on Broadway is fabulous!

There is also a quilt shop on the main strip in Golden, near the Golden Hotel. I also buy alot from 2 stores online as they have more of a modern selection: fabricworm.com and quilthome.com

Well since the Great American Quilt Factory closed it's hard to find the designers I want. Some of the local shops tend to carry a lot of old lady looking fabric. I go to Fancy Tiger from time to time but they are very expensive.
My daughter is learning to sew, and I am wanting to track down a bundle of scrap fabric for her to do some small practice projects. Does anyone know where I could find...

Denver Fabrics is now Colorado Fabrics so that's two recommendations for it. It's a good store, much better than big box stores like Joann.
