We recently went through Denver on our way to Moab UT. We stopped by http://www.davincitandems.com/ I highly recommend checking out their shop, unless you already have a Da Vinci. I have always wondered about their Independent Coasting System. They let us take one for a test drive on the biking trail that goes right in front of their shop. Very nice people there!

I agree that you should stop at Tandem Cycle Works. A wonderful couple (Patrick and Lynn) own and operate the store.

Da vinci is my vote. They will have maps for you to explore the trails. Plus you get to meet the neat people who make them possible. Davincidesigns.com

Cycle Analyst always has the strangest array of NOS parts, if you need exact things. They're located around 700 S Pearl. I'd give a nod to Salvagetti, as their my LBS and I love them, and they love me. They'll get you up and running. Go to either early as it's Crazy Time at the bike shops.

There's track shack on tremont, coco bikes on 9 th and Inca, and salvagetties that's never a bad idea! The guys at coco are awesome though! They always are friendly and help me with whatever I need. :) track shack tends to focus on fixed but curt knows what he's doing.

[Wheat Ridge Cyclery](http://ridewrc.com/) likely has all those items in stock. If you can wait, you can order most from Nashbar and then install them yourself. Salvagetti is probably my favorite shop, but they don't have the stock that Wheat Ridge does. Not sure what FedEx has to do with this, but you can typically file an insurance claim with them for up to at least $100.

Check out jinji cycles in the highlands. One of the best bike shops in the Denver area IMO.

Agree- Wheat Ridge cycles- or if you can get up to the Republic of Boulder, the guys at [Vecchio's Bicicletteria](http://www.vecchios.com/) can fix just about anything.
Anyone have any suggestions for a used bike shop? Looking for a cheap bike to replace a stolen one.

This is probably your best bet. You can spend a few days there and build one or buy one already assembled [The Bike Depot] (http://www.thebikedepot.org)

Took me a while to find this spot but I finally did. Not even sure they're still around, as it's been a few years since I've lived in Denver. They had a ton of rebuilt vintage/used bikes and the owners were really friendly and helpful. The prices were rather reasonable as well. Nevertheless, I don't know the name of it but it's between Arkansas and Florida on Broadway. Best I could get you is this [google maps link](https://goo.gl/maps/MQWI0)

There's a used bike shop on Stout and Park. It's called like Rick's Recycled bikes or something.

I've got a bike that needs a little bit of work that I'm looking to get rid of. Free. Ross Mountain bike that needs a new gear set and chain. Tires are suggested in the near future. I'd say $125 in repair.

I don't think it gets any cheaper than garage sales and Craig's list.

ship to Nie Brothers Cycles very cool guys and the shop is amazing. they work directly with Alchemy bikes. and they are right on the Denver greenway! as far as trails, try to catch a ride to hall ranch, or get to golden. that might be a tall order. not very familiar with Denver, I have been to boulder much more.
