Circumcision will NOT fix these problems. Try the link below but DO NOT RELY ON IT. It gives background to the condition. As has been said here, seek a progressive, modern, child friendly Doctor, not a chop Doctor who is after your cash. http://www.m.webmd.com/men/guide/chordee-repair-treatment

I would cut out the highly allergenic foods from your diet: http://www.askdrsears.com/topics/feeding-eating/feeding-infants-toddlers/food-allergies/most-and-least-allergenic-foods Also, you can try Hyland's colic tablets. If your baby is getting too much milk, too fast, they are more prone to spit up, or even projectile vomit. My daughter had acid reflux and increased spitting up if I ate sugar, drank coffee, or citrus. Really, I would consider eating a very basic diet for a while and see what happens. The colic tablets did help (and still do help) with her acid reflux. Also, wait about 20 minutes after feeding to lay your baby down or consider elevating head of bassinet.
Sara P. replied:
Dr. Amy Petersen DO at Des Moines Pediatric. She is the best! Ps- I wasn't able to eat certain foods while nursing my first child as her tummy would get upset. A big food no no for me were brussel sprouts
Kimberly W. replied:
Have you ruled out Reflux? Our newborn suffered terribly from this and would cry non stop. Within 24 hrs of being put on medicine, she was a completely different baby. We love Dr. Milani at Mercy East Pediatrics.

If they wont make the time to meet with you then that should be a big red flag. Hey Des Moines, any suggestions on a wonderful pediatrician!?
Chelsea W. replied:
I LOVE Des Moines Pediatrics. I went there and my son goes there. Sally is my favorite but they are all awesome. They have a office in Beaverdale, and then a couple in the suburbs but the Beaver office is where I always go. The staff is nice and they make you feel less like your in a Dr office so it's nice if you do end up with them long term for older kiddos.
Shayla S. replied:
Brad Berkley I appreciate it but yes,Johnston might be a little far out yet. Bert Smith I hope to keep them longer term but were also still hoping to relocate with Luke's job at some point so I'm not sure how long term we would be as patients. Laura 'Boesen' Voshell i got a pamphlet last night at out hospital tour that had the unity point Methodist group in it and I was somewhat leaning that was just because they are close, and would probably be available to check out baby fairly soon and give us the go ahead to leave the hospital since they are so close! Ps I hope Kobi said hi for us last night, we ran into him at the mega hyvee with Isaac!
Biz O. replied:

We see Lynn Howard out at Mercy West! And i used to go.to Dr Cureg out there when I was younger! Great doctors!
Kari S. replied:
Shayla, I am not sure how far of a drive Waukee is for you from your home, but when we had Kamryn we took her to Waukee Clinic: Stephen B Rinderknecht DO. He is amazing. We were going to take the boys there and actually had their first appointment set but decided we would rather drive 40 min from Jefferson to Ames then the 70 min to Waukee. I was actually quite bummed that we decided to change. Anyway that is an option for you if you can't find one close to you at first. Btw-you look amazing!!!
