On our farm it depends on the animal. Corrective work can be every 2 weeks. Our oldest girl does best with monthly trimming. Most doe fine with every two months. Favorite trimmers- by far- ARS. I can't coun't how many of the other models we've gone through. Just ordered our third pair of ARS trimmers.
