I've heard some good things regarding [Liles](http://www.lilesclothingstudio.com/) in North Hills. Prices are quite high though.

It's not close, but I go to Connie Tailor Inc, in Cary. They've done an awesome job on what I've needed tailored and she's really nice to just engage with. All the reviews online are great too.

I stumbled over Krystyna's in Cary (Saltbox Village on Kildaire Farm Rd.) when I first moved here and I've driven from wherever else I lived in the area (Clayton, Fuquay, Garner). She's just that good. I'm back in Cary now, thank goodness, because I get a lot of my work clothes tailored.

I used to go to Chi's Tailor in Pleasant Valley. It's not a huge drive from Durham if you can get onto Glenwood. Very fast, very fair.

I go to Anna's Tailor in Carr Mill Mall. It is a fair drive from Durham, but they are the only people I trust to do the work that is outside of my skill set when it comes to sewing. I've tried a few others and while they weren't bad, Anna's is consistently exceptional and has earned my loyalty. Coincidently, no one at Anna's Tailor is named Anna. :) If you go, tell them "Jennifer" sent you. They know me because I always bring them challenges (I did say it was for things outside of my skill set). Very reasonably priced, too.
So--I broke down and bought a suit--first time in over 25 years! Now I need a tailor to make alterations. Anybody have a recommendation in North Durham?
Kim M. replied:
I like Thu's Tailor Shop in North Duke Mall - the back side.
