Poison Ivy Removal? Anyone have a recommendation for a yard crew that can remove poison ivy? Have a clump of trees in the back yard that's got a pretty heavy infestation...

If you send pics and offer a price I’ll do it. I’m not allergic.

Round up works well. Get the concentrate. For any large vines that go up trees, cut the vine and spray concentrated round up on the cut. I would never recommend pulling poison ivy by hand. Make sure u shower with soap and use a wash cloth.
I found a guy on Nextdoor last year who did an amazing job at 10 bucks an hour but he's no longer responding. I guess he doesn't want to pull ivy anymore. I'm tired of trying to find someone at less than $20 an hour so I'm going to do it myself. I bought gloves that go up to my elbows and I plan on wearing clothes that I can wash separately. I had a really bad exposure years ago too, I feel your pain. I usually do it with my husband, he has oven cleaning gloves on and is in charge of picking up the pulled ivy that I pull and putting it in the bag. The gloves get thrown away at the end.
George Odell is the deal - And be careful with anyone really cheap - my neighbor is going through taking someone to court who dropped a tree on their deck and won't come back to fix

tree trimming/removal service: any recs? Hi, all. I'm looking for recommendations for a tree trimming service. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Leaf & Limb. Have used them for two removals now. Highly recommend.

I'd be interested in some detailed responses here - I feel like tree trimming is one of those things where the costs can vary wildly but the end result should be the same. I have a few trees I probably need trimmed or removed but don't want to wind up spending thousands upon thousands of dollars.

DO NOT use Marks Tree Service out of Mebane. He dropped a limb on my house then denied that anything had happened and argued with me that that my porch railing was already broken. I presented him with picture proof, there was even pine tree bark stuck in the wood. Very unprofessional.

NOT J&D trimmers. These guys showed up to remove a stump and did not have the equipment to remove a stump, claiming it costs too much to rent. Even used my own tools, too. Never returned to finish the job, never answered the phone again.

We like Jerry’s Tree Service. We had a tree fall on our deer fencing around our garden. He removed the tree and fixed the fence for $250 the next day.

We just had a dying tree removed from our property by [Grateful Trees & Bees](http://gratefultreesandbees.com/). They're a small family owned local business that does sliding scale to keep their services affordable in Durham. I really like their work and plan to have them back out to service some more dying limbs in the back yard.

Trosa is fantastic. My family has been hiring them for years for all sorts of work around the house and they are super trustworthy

Leaf & Limb is overpriced. They even charge you just to have an arborist come by and *look* at the tree, which I find astonishing. In the same price range, Bartlett out of Chapel Hill provides a great service; lots of our neighbors swear by them. For myself, Slightly cheaper, I've used CS Tree Service both for deadwooding/pruning and taking down trees, they do a great job and have real attention to detail. However, if it's just taking down a tree, and it's just one, historically I've used JB Tree Service. The service isn't great, they often take a long time to schedule, but they're cheap, and they take down trees, no problem.
