Dr Barney (at Eagle Vision) is excellent with kids. The staff are all great.

We went to Excel for our eye exams since we have Select Health and they covered it there. I was very pleased with them. However, I didn't buy my glasses there. We went to Zennioptical.com also and I am so glad we did!

We really liked the doctor at Standard Optical in Lehi!

I just had shoulder surgery from Dr. John Skedros. He's up in Murray so it was quite a drive but I've heard he's the best shoulder doc around.

My friend had shoulder surgery and her Dr is Dr Jackson, his office is on the south side of Timp hospital in the clinic. There's actually 2 dr Jackson's - brothers, they r both awesome, I saw Dr Johnson in the same office for my elbow and he's good too.

Dr. Kimball in Sandy did my shoulder surgery, I really liked him, I went to a couple doctors before I decided and he was the one I chose! - (801) 571-7061

Eric Vanderhooft is an excellent upper extremity orthopedic surgeon at St. Marks. Dan Hammon in Murray at IHC would be my second choice. Good luck

I've worked with orthopedics for years. for shoulders I'd recommend Dr Kimball in Provo at Central Utah Clinic.

Dr. Paul Winterton in Sandy. He is great and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Mathews he's in the IHC clinic in Saratoga Springs office. Did shoulder surgery on both my wife and I really good bed side manner as well great doc.

Dr. Matthews, I went and see him for the past months for my shoulder too or Dr. Evans at IHC American Fork.

I would highly recommend Dr Matthew Poulsen. His office is in Provo, but definitely worth driving a little farther for a good dr. He specializes in knees and shoulders

Dr. Adam Bergeson did my knee surgery. He has an office in AF and in Provo.

I love Dr. Ritchie at north valley ortho. He has done a wonderful job on my knee.

If you're willing to go to Riverton Hospital, John Brady is amazing!

My Pediatrician in SS referred us to Dr. Harnsberger for my son. Though, I'm not sure why I didn't think of her in the 1 st place since she took care of my oldest daughter's issues years ago.

Thomas Sutton in AF. He is really good. He is taking care of both my kids.

not sure if he still practices or where.. last we saw him he was at the cottonwood medical plaza that no longer is there.. but Dr Miezelle. he saved our little girl

Go to Laurie Anderson at Utah Valley Pediatrics in Orem. She is great. They can refer you to someone great if she can't fix the issue. 8012240421

I have heard Dr. Embly at the clinic next to ridleys is really good. He takes bcbs. He has patients that still drive up from gunnison because they love him so much.

I agree with Ashlee Thorup Byington! I worked with LeeAnn Johnson and there is no one that cares more or knows more and still researches things constantly! She is amazing like Mary Poppins in every way. She sometimes runs late, but is well worth the wait. She is in West Jordan at Jordan Family Health on redwood and near 90 th south. 801-569-1999

In my experience getting in quickly with pain management docs doesn't really happen. I would recommend Robin Mountford at zenith family health because she'll listen to the situation and do all she can to help even if it's just till they can see a pain management dr.

I love Cheryl Johnson at Premier Family Medicine in Lehi. Diagnosed a problem I'd been struggling with for over a year (and seen many other providers about). Takes time to listen and actual hear ALL your issues. I highly recommend her.

Dr. McManus at The Clinic in Saratoga. I really like him and so does my family.

Robert Christensen at Instacare, he does family practice.

I will be going to Dr Coy tomorrow. My new insurance doesn't cover Zenith but I had been seeing Robin Mountford. Very nice. If she doesn't know the answer she was digging through books and discussing options with me. I stuck with her after several failed drs before her.

Dr. McManus has a horrible bed side manner! I went in for what I swear was an ear infection, $100 later I was told I was congested. I had my baby with me and because of my name being a boy name, he said, "Oh so that's Codi?" When I corrected him, that I was Codi, he made the same mistake. He obviously wasn't paying attention. I went to another doctor and found the problem with my ear...it wasn't congestion! ;) I don't know of any good recommendations, but I can tell you who NOT to go to!:D

I have heard similar things about Dr. McManus.

Dr Allred is my favorite. Very compassionate and knowledgable. I've seen at least 3 though and I'd go to any of them.

Dr James Coy hands down. My husband actually goes to the doctor now. He is great, he lets you really be a partner in your health care. Gives you options with pros and cons and values your opinion.

Dr Christensen at the same office is fabulous as well. I like him for the same reasons listed above as well.

If you call at 8:00 am you can get in same day for sick appointment. We love Dr. Coy.

I agree with Dr. Christiansen at the IMH, SS. Although I am no longer a patient of his, due to TRICARE's recoverage. Worth the wait. I felt his referrals for me was specialist based, and not just sending me to a "friend" of his. (if TRICARE allowed, no doubt that I would want to be seen by Dr. Christiansen)

I do however see Nicole Delaplante in Draper at Lone Peak Primary. She just came in as of January this year. I am comfortable being seen by her, and my wife and kids see her too.

Dr Coy is the first family practitioner I have ever actually liked. He's great! I've heard good things about Dr Christensen too. It's harder to get in as a new patient. After that it's easier. If your sick they can usually see you same day, after that first visit. But that's typical of anywhere.

Dr Foster at Alpine Pediatrics specializes in neonatal care and is an excellent physician. I've liked all the other doctors I've seen at Alpine Peds as well.

Dr. McCune! And nurse practitioner Natalie. Wonderful.

We see Dr. Gunther in SS. She's great! Doesn't rush you out, takes her time and she really knows her stuff!

We LOVE Dr. Wise at North Valley Pediatrics. Attentive to concerns and has been so knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to my daughter, who has had quite a few health challenges.

I love Dr. Ellertson at Utah Valley Pediatrics. He listens and answers every question and his office staff is amazing.

We love both Dr. McCune and Dr. Ellertson at Utah Valley Pediatrics, amazing with babies, kids with special needs, even teens. We have been with UVP for 16 years and love, love, love that we have such great doctors so close.

I have been there. Dr embley is amazing. And dr Diana Lee obgyn is amazing also. I really like how they listen and spend time to answer your questions and concerns.

I believe Dr Embley is T1 himself!

I've seen Dr Embley a few times with their Urgent care. He's great. He really listened to me and worked with me to get a treatment plan that we were both okay with. I felt he's very knowledgeable, too.

Dr Sullivan at Intermountain in Saratoga Springs. She is wonderful. Kind, caring, knowledgeable. Worked with her during her residency.

I love Dr. Sullivan in Saratoga Springs! She is the kind of doctor who explains everything and watches out for your health enough that you don't have to stress about it. She brings up possible concerns so you don't have to. I wouldn't suggest crossroads family medicine unless you're looking for a quick diagnosis that may or may not be accurate and easy access to prescriptions.

We use: Dr. Embley at Revere Health and Alpine Peds. Both take BCBS. Unless it is a specific IHC only clinic, then usually all doctors take all insurances.

The same thing just happened to us! We have to change everything. We has our first appts this week with Dr Embley. He's really awesome. I'm actually kinda glad we were "forced" to make this change. He's really great with our teenage son, too. Which is important to me. Good luck.

We are being forced from BCBS to United Health. If the BCBS were of Utah, then that would be a good switch, but since we have of MA (which has better coverage) it doesn't make me happy.
