I am looking for a dance class but can be a combination gym class for a 2 year old, who is so excited. Looking to stay in Eagle Mountain Ranches or City Center.

Does anyone know the name of the gym coming out here? Thanks.

I hope its ok to put this here. If they need any printing done, like banners, signs, and flyers, have them call a local printer here in EM. http://www.ryansdesign.com/ We will deliver too.

Crossfit UV in Orem that I go to has an all women's class and daycare. Maybe this one in EM will consider it?

Battle Forged Fitness. I tried tagging the Fb page but couldn't get it to work. They live across the street from me and are a great family.
Are there any gyms in eagle mountain. I know about the crossfit by chevron. If there aren't any others in EM where do people go?

Here is why we don’t have a rec center. 1- If passed, the bond initiative would cost homeowners approximately $100 per year on a $200,000 home. The tax increase would pay for constructing the center, which would be finished in spring 2011. But residents interested in using the center would have to pay a separate fee. 2- VCBO Architecture representatives told council members that a rec center could never pay for itself. Annual operating expenses would mean coughing up big-time cash, year after year. 3- If the city built a rec center half the size of Lehi's Legacy Center, it would cost $1.7 million annually to run it, said Brent Tippets of VCBO. Analysis by the firm shows that the center could expect to take in just more than $900,000 from entrance fees, concession and rentals. That would leave the city with a shortfall of more than $800,000 a year. That does not include the cost of building the facility. 4- A rec center half the size of Lehi's, in Eagle Mountain would have to charge the same annual fee as Lehi charges 5- The VCBO analysis assumes that Eagle Mountain residents will pay $5 for an adult day pass, $22 for an adult month pass, or $230 for an adult annual pass. Youth prices would be about 20 percent less. Non-residents would pay a 15-percent premium. 6- City staff have said rec centers can be built for as little as $7 million or multiples of that. Lindon has just opened its $10 million rec center, and building something akin to Lehi's Legacy Center in Eagle Mountain would cost $15 million. So with my math a family of four would aprox. $760 per year just to use the rec center. While adding about $100 a year to the families that are struggling to feed their families and pay bills, who can’t use it without paying one time use fees. Oh did I mention $800k in annual debt that would have to come from somewhere? Just because it would be nice to have a facility close by, doesn’t mean we need one.

Can anyone recommend a GOOD gymnastics academy either in Utah County or South SL County? (Or if one is worth driving too, farther I guess.) I would be looking for a gym...

Andy Marsh, is a coach at Gym cats. (I think it's called that) It seems like a comprehensive gym.

Arete is great. So is All American. I taught dance at All American and was able to watch the gymnasts when I wasn't teaching. Working with the girls, you could see that they have good technique. I worked with the Arete owners' daughter. She definitely knew what she was doing when we did anything that used her skills as a gymnast. She teaches there now.

Olympus Gymnastics in Sandy is excellent. Well worth the drive.

We've done All American Gymnastics the last two years. I would highly recommend them. I'm sure they'd be happy to talk to you and give you more info or a tour.
I'm looking for local classes that teach kind of what The Little Gym does but for cheaper prices. I have a 14 month old. Does anyone know of any around here?
Laura M. replied:
Yeah The Little Gym is exactly what I'm looking for. I just can't justify spening $15 per class. I just called Tumble Time in SS. The girl wasn't sure what age they start the mommy and me classes. So she was going to call me back.

Cahoots Fitness in lehi! I haven't done little gym but they have a movement preschool and baby steps that have been so fun for my two year old!! at 14 months they wouldn't do much more then shapes and songs but once they hit 2 they learn tons! my daughter knows yoga lol. its really my favorite because they offer fitness classes for me while my kids go to their classes so i know they are safe and actually learning while i work out. totally work it!
Has anyone had any experience with All American Gym? We are thinking of making a switch for my daughters gymnastics from where she is now to there and are just wondering...
Natasha S. replied:
My daughter has been going to All American for years. If you want your daughter to be a serious gymnast, on a winning team you either need to take her to All American in Lindon or Olympus in Sandy. Both are about the same distance and time from Eagle Mountain. Both are the major gyms that feed college gymnast into BYU and the U of U. If you are looking for recreation gymnastics then any old gym will do.
Looking for a car pool to get my daughter to girls softball open gym at Westlake after school. Does anyone have middle school aged daughters that are into softball that...
