Dr Hansen at A Caring Vet in Lindon. 801 699 6936. Close, reasonable prices and great with all kinds of pets. I have taken my Chameleons and dogs to him so far. He treats everything but fish. Great staff.
New to Eagle Mountain. We have two German Shepherds and we are trying to find a good vet for them. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Dr. Farrer.. Saratoga springs animal hospital
Stacey R. replied:
We have a German Sheherd thats 5 months old and we go to the Dr.Farrer at the Saratoga Springs Animal Hosptialand he is amazing along with his wonderful staff. We have been going there for awhile with our other dogs and never had a bad experience. We had our new puppies shot done there and I think their prices are very far and rereasonable.

Dr. Farrer at Saratoga Springs Animal Hospital is amazing. I hate Lehi Animal hospital I've only had horrible experiences there
Jennifer W. replied:
Another recommendation for Dr. Farrer. He's awesome.
Brooke T. replied:
Drs Farrer and Gillespie at Saratoga Springs Animal Hospital and their staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. I've taken my pets there for 10 years and wouldn't consider changing vets. They are fantastic!
Paula S. replied:
Lehi Animal Hospital..... Dr Chamberlain has seen our mastiffs and the two litters and is very knowledgeable. Hr came recommended from our vet in Virginia when we moved here.
Kara H. replied:
I personally didn't have a great experience at the Saratoga Springs Animal Hospital. I recommend Dr. Packer, he come to you. I've also heard a lot of good thing about Coleman Veterinary in Provo, especially for surgery stuff. Check out the pet group, they have a list of vets in their files section. https://www.facebook.com/groups/426150547440458/
Kim M. replied:
We also go to Saratoga Springs Animal Hospital. They've always taken really good care of us. Even when there is an emergency, they always fit us in or Dr. Ferrer will give us his cell.
I am new to the area and need to find a Vet clinic... I would appreciate any recommendations :)
Karen K. replied:
I like Dr Farrer at Saratoga Springs Animal Hospital, and Dr Packer, he is an at home vet, he comes to you. They sometimes have different approaches to vet care, but I like them both.
Christina H. replied:
We love Dr Packer! He is amazing with the pets. I have heard Dr Coleman in Orem is also very good (and affordable). I'm not super thrilled with the Saratoga place because I found they wanted to charge for each and every little visit (ie redressing a wound)...
Chris L. replied:
Its a little far to go but the best care we have had is Mountain View Veterinary clinic in Sandy Utah, 801-523-1176. Dr VanWagoner is wonderful. We started going here when a friend recommended them for a second opinion when our boxer had cancer they saw us free of charge during a very trying time and we have gone their ever since.
Heather R. replied:
Dr. Packer (mobile), Dr. Coleman in Provo, Dr. Pew in Draper, or SS Animal Hospital (Dr. Farrer).

Dr Packer is the vet that comes to your home. He's great and it's really convenient. Highly recommend him! 801-205-4404
Anyone have a favorite vet clinic? We're going to adopt a dog, and I want to take him somewhere for just an overall check up
Ashley A. replied:
Copper View Animal Hospital in Riverton is fantastic! Great prices, very clean and all of the vets are wonderful!
Tiffany V. replied:
I took my dog to get fixed at Coleman Vet in Provo and I felt like it was a chop shop. Wasn't super happy. Had to take him to Timp Animal Hospital to get an infection taken care of on his scar. Love Timp.

I love Dr Farrer at Saratoga Springs Animal Hospital. He is very caring and takes time to talk with you about your pet. His staff is great also.
Anyone have a favorite vet we currently go to saratoga animal hospital, but lately we feel like the do their best to recommend treatment that isn't necessary.
Ahnah L. replied:
We have gone to Creekside animal hospital in Draper. Dr.Grover
Dolores N. replied:
I like Saratoga Springs Animal Hospital. The vets are really caring and work with us. In fact at my cat's last check up he mentioned that her teeth had some calculus on them but it could wait until next year for a cleaning. If they had wanted an unnecessary treatment done I would think they would have done it at that time because I didn't even ask if it could be put off.
Heather R. replied:
We go to Alcor Cresta in Midvale It's a little ways but we've gone for years
Catherine W. replied:
A Caring Vet in London. Dr. Hansen. He is Great with the animals, so personable with them. Sees every kind as long as it has lungs. So Basically - no fish. Very reasonable prices. We have had a great vet in Sandy for 15+ years. Dr. Hansen is even better.

I honestly really like the Saratoga Springs Animal Hospital, but found them to be very costly and never have appointment available short notice. I know it's not commonly the preferred choice by most, but I have had a lot of success with Dr. McCarthy at the AF Banfield. She's taken good care of both my dogs, and they bend over backwards to get my dogs in for an emergency.
I need some help. My little Gizmo (Shih Tzu) has a very sore mouth. He won't let me look in it. I need to take him to a vet but we don't have one here. Recommendations?...
Antje K. replied:
Dr Coleman in provo.. you can go in mon-thursday till 2 and a tech will look at him for you for free unless he needs to see the actual vet it will only be $25 they looked at my Chihuahua today and it only cost me $10 for the meds she needed..it's a bit of a drive but worth it.
Does anyone know of a clinic or vet who is giving special deals on rabies and general check ups?
I have a 4yr Pekingese I rescued needing them.
Crissy B. replied:
I forget this is Utah County pets..lol..but the Gunnison Valley Animal Clinic is awesome. I pay like $18.00 for the rabies vacc that's good for 2 years and I've never been charged for the vet checking over my dogs while I'm there for shots. I'm sure any vet can give the rabies and a quick check up without the additional office charge?? I DO know that the vets up your way are kinda pricey...good luck and bless you for rescuing a fur-kid!! Good job!
