Newer to the area and wanting to know of a good vet that specializes in large breed, can I get some feedback/recommendations?
Emily F. replied:
We have a Dane and we got to Dr. Coleman. I'm not sure if he specializes in large breeds but he is great and super affordable. He works a lot with danes cause his groomer that works at his shop breeds Great Danes.

could someone recommend a vet in boise that has malamute experience and is not afraid of the breed? Thanks!

I really like the vets and techs at Habitat Veterinary Hospital. I've taken my personal Mals and foster Mals there and all 3 vets are very nice and work great with the Mals. Here is their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Habitat-Veterinary-Hospital/216032578411505
Need a good veterinarian for Nuca in Provo. Any recommendations? Ours is out in Draper and driving out there for every appointment is rough.

All About Pets in Provo. They are amazing and great prices. Only see Dr Arnold though. Not a big fan of the other two.

Help. Our husky is acting stranger than usual. She's always been stubborn and loved to be outside. She would eventually come in tho. Everything changed yesterday. ...
Arctic R. replied:
Definitely get her into the vet for an exam and hopefully a blood panel and urinalysis. Keep your hopes up, sometimes older dogs will have something that can cause them to act strangely, but can be easily fixed, hypothyroid, UTI etc. Also, if she is developing arthritis there are some harnesses you can get to help her get up and down (much more comfortable than using the collar). For our senior dogs who need a little help we use Ruff Wear harnesses. We will be praying for her.

Geesh Rachael...let's see what the vet says. We can get her a harness if we need to but this all just started.
