I have been to all three of those places Jess. All fabulous. Sandals will be the most expensive but offer the best service. Secrets Excellence is smaller (more quaint) than Paradisus but by no means less quality. A travel agent doesn't always mean more money... Sometimes they can get you upgrades !!!

Punta Cana in the DR is nice but you can't really leave the resorts. Aruba was really fun and if you don't have a passport there is always USVI or Puerto Rico!
