HERE GOES: Victoria Breweries are Lighthouse Brewing Company, Phillips Brewing Company, Driftwood Brewery, 4 Mile Brewing Co., Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub, Vancouver Island Brewery, Hoyne Brewing Company, Swans Suite Hotel & Brewpub, an Canoe Brewpub. I bet I missed something. My favorite go-to beer in town is Lighthouse's Race Rocks Ale. My favorite porter is the Phillips Chocolate Longboat Porter. Hoyne has some of the other best beers in town, and so does Driftwood, with their White Bark Ale. My favorite restaurant, hands down, Ferris' Oyster Bar and Grill. There are better places, but they are more expensive. This place has a tremendous brunch culture. Jam is the arguably the hipsteriest and most popular one, Blue Fox has the biggest brunch servings, and John's Place is reliable and fantastic. Save money to hit the liquor stores because there are fantastic upisland breweries (Salt Spring Island! Longwood! Townsite!) whose beers you're gonna want to take home.

Yes, I recently heard that Donald did work at Suomi College in a kitchen. I was asking somebody on Facebook, that I recently connected with, when I saw a Perrium on her friend list. Donald went to my church, as did she. I don't think that was the immediate family though, although they may have had some relationship. There was a Zelda, close to my age, ( now 64) who was of the family that owned it.
