Servus Credit Union Place and ask for CJ Baker. He does lots of work with athletes.
CJ B. replied:
Thanks, Lana Black! Hi, Laurie. Strength & Condition is my field of work. I have worked with a number of athletes from different sports (hockey, soccer, football, figure skating, baseball, and of course basketball). My goal for each athlete I work with is to increase their mobility, their strength, their cardiovascular conditioning AND make them more injury-resistant. You can reach me at cbaker@stalbert.ca . I look forward to meeting you.
Is there anyone on my FB friends list who knows or is a personal trainer? I need guidance in my diet and work out routine.

Are you set on a female trainer? I am a woman and have worked with four different male trainers who have a passion for weightlifting and understand the female body. Here are my suggestions: [Dominic Oppong at Infinite Fitness](http://infinitefit.ca/apps/mindbody/staff/100000105). He's my personal trainer so I'm biased, but he pushes people hard. He's great at motivating and funny as hell, which is nice when you're spending an hour together. [Karl Gellert, also at Infinite](http://infinitefit.ca/apps/mindbody/staff/100000114). He isn't my trainer, but he really knows his stuff when it comes to Olympic lifting. Marc Roy at [Robin Mungall Fitness](http://www.rmfit.com/about-us/). He just left Infinite to work at a gym closer to home. He is constantly taking courses to improve his knowledge and does a good job of explaining lifts. [Dean Guedo at L2 Fitness](http://l2fitness.com/about-us/edmonton-personal-trainers/dean-guedo/). He is super passionate about lifting and runs courses on the Olympic lifts. He coaches Marc for lifting, and that's how I was introduced to him.

I would definitely recommend Andrea with [Work of A.R.T. Fitness](http://workofartfitness.ca/about-us/). She's well versed in weight training and is also a holistic nutritionist. She trains out of Blitz Conditioning and 4 Points Wellness downtown as well as CoE Facilities. I've been training with her for a few years and I'm really happy with the progress I've made.

I like Steph at World Health on Gateway Boulevard. She's pretty into lifting, I think she competes too.
SDH500 replied:
Does the trainer have to be female or do you just want a good weight lifting trainer that accepts women.

You might want to give All-Seasons Garden Centre just off Whyte a call. A lot of hydroponic growers prefer to formulate their own nutrient mixes, so they will likely have some or all of those. Ascorbic acid can be had in any pharmacy as Vitamin C.

Male or Female Trainer?
DeadliestSins replied:
I would recommend Infinite Fitness, located at 23 Ave. and Rabbit Hill Road. It's a family-owned fitness studio that offers personal training and group classes like spin, pilates and various classes like TRX and HIIT. I've been with them for about a year and have had a positive experience. They have both male and female trainers, who will cater your workout to fit your goals. I have been suffering from a foot injury (plantar fasciitis) for over a year, and my trainer was able to adapt my workout each session to fit how painful the injury was that day. They also will give you tips on nutrition and can give you a home workout plan too.
EvolveStrength replied:
