I felt K&S was too conveyor belt like but found Dr Palamone a couple of years back and love him. He is behind the northwest hospital building. I recommend doing your homework, the level of training and expertise a chiropractor has can vary greatly. I highly recommend Palamone for someone local

Thanks Brian for getting me in on this conversation. Christie, I would be happy to help in any way that I can. I am at Morrison Chiropractic, in Ellicott City, and see quite a few people from the Eldersburg area. Our office has been around for 25+ years and have been voted best of Howard County several times in the past 5 years. If you would like to talk more specifically I will be happy to see what I can do to help. The easiest way to get in touch with me is by email - info@morrisonchiropractic.com.

I don't do chiropractors, and I have to say this. Dr. Bob treated my daughter's broken arm with out my consent or without me being there. (My parents are friends and they had taken her there after sustaining a two foot fall in karate) he did not do any X-rays, and applied electric stimulation to what turned out to be a fresh tissue/growth plate injury. I ended up taking her to the ED and we had hundreds of dollars in ortho bills. She has growth plate damage. They are nice people but they march to the beat of their own drummer (even went as far to insist I NOT vaccinate my daughter when she was born or "she will end up with autism").
Laurel R. replied:
It all depends on what you are looking for. K&S is very good with getting your insurance to pay and getting the adjustment done efficiently. Their office workers are young and unprofessional, but you can look past that. Also, for some reason they don't do x-rays. Dr. Chuck Palamone is a bit new agey and doesn't do insurance but does do package payment plans where you get a discount if you pay for a lot of treatments up front. He sells all these holistic supplements, etc. Ritchie Chiropractic has an "old school" and family atmosphere, not too great on insurance but very accommodating in other ways. Don't go there if you are in a hurry. I am a big believer in chiropractic even though there are quacks out there.

Dr Palamone
Debbie L. replied:
Dr Palamone still takes insurance. But will work with you so you get treatment at the most economical advantage for you. Sometimes the package plans are more cost effective than your copay/deductible.
Chip B. replied:
Lauren, I'm not sure if you are willing to drive to Ellicott City but my wife and I are chiropractors at Morrison Chiropractic. We are focused on getting people better quickly and back to the things that they want to do. We have been voted best of Howard County for 3 of the past 5 years, and focus extensively on combining manipulations with rehabilitation. Our goal is to teach you how you can treat your own symptoms after you have improved! If you have any questions please feel free to send me a PM, and I will answer any additional questions that you might have.
So I want to switch to a chiropractor in Eldersburg, besides being great I need a place that won't be annoyed when I arrive with my two kiddos for appointments...
Robin H. replied:
