kids first pediatric Dentistry! they have laughing gas as well BUT THEY WILL NEVER HOLD DOWN a patient! that defeats the purpose of a pediatric dentist... i can only for see that incase of an emergency! but by far the best in the area! they are both (dr patel and dr karsten) board certified in pediatric dentistry! not just a reg dentist which can be miss leading... there #is 847#717-5437 ! they dont take all kids program but thats the only place i took my son! and if i want the best for my child ... thats is where i would go! good luck!

Kids first all the way. Plus Dr. Patel has joined the team, she is great and I send my youngest to her, she is a little scared of Dr. Matt. My other two see Dr. Matt.:)

As an FYI: Kids first doesn't take all insurances (they don't take ours and my husband works for a very well-known global company). If you're like me and the only person in Elgin who doesn't go to that dentist, I would recommend Dr. Scott or Dr. Allison at pediatric and family dental- although if they are no longer there, I don't know who else we would see.

Kids first!!! Dr Matt is the best!! My autistic daughter had to have surgery and we had it done at the hospital, he rode on the gurnee with her to ease her fears. Eased mine too!! He's awesome❤️

If you're willing to drive, Riverwalk Dental in Rolling Meadows - Dr Blaibel. My daughter is 10 and has been going there the entire time. I did a lot of research to make sure she got a good experience right off the bat so that she wouldn't be traumatized like me when I was little lol (I'm over it now). My daughter LOVES going to the dentist. It's so weird but a good weird lol. When I book an appointment she gets excited. There's only one dentist there. It was previously run by another dentist who was extremely proficient in the field, well recognized, and was so involved in various dental related organizations and programs he eventually had to pass on his practice to focus on his other work. I was apprehensive about him leaving, but Dr. Blaibel who took over the practice is fantastic and has great "bedside" manners. The entire staff has been great. A bonus for the kids, there are two tv's for every chair so they'll play kid movies or channels that the kids can watch while being examined/worked on. It's well worth the drive for me. They were pediatric only, but when she started accepting adult patients I jumped right away! ;)

Another vote for Dr. Karsten! We love him!

Definitely Kids First. I worked with Dr. Matt a couple of years ago and I can sincerely say I have never met another doctor/dentists care and treat his patients the way he does. He will truly go above and beyond for each and every child he sees.

Dean Lodding has been my dentist since I was 17! I had a terrible experience when I was 10 somewhere else, and he changed my mind! He has been my dentist for over 30 years! Everyone at smile for life dental is amazing, and Dean Lodding is awesome with kids and adults!
