Dr Penniall in St Charles is amazing with kids! My kids love going to the dentist with him. Goofball and great at what he does!

My vote is for Dr. Janis also. He explains what each instrument does and has the child feel it on their skin so they are not afraid of it. He has a wonderful demeanor, and his office staff is really helpful.

Dr. Janis! My daughters went there twice a year their entire childhood. They would actually ask me if they had a dentist appointment coming up soon because...get this...they loved going to the dentist!

Another vote for Dr Janis...my son was born with insufficient dentin and needed caps. We were worried about him going through the experience...Dr Janis was so comforting, My son didn't even know he had shots.

We LOVE Dr. John Nathan in STC. He specializes in kids and special needs patients. My kids tend to be anxious around dentists and doctors and he was amazing with them. He also encourages parents to come into the treatment room, which apparently some dentists don't allow. When my son fell on his front teeth at two years old, we called the emergency number on a Sunday night and Dr. Nathan personally answered and calmed us down.

I second GFD (Geneva Family Dental). Been taking my child there for years, great staff and fun for the kids- down to the dentist office fish tank from Finding Nemo!

We go to Dr Janis and the entire staff is amazing with kids. The first few times they review all the tools explain why they need them and make sure that the experience is very pleasant. My daughter went to Dayspring pediatric dental when she was younger. She still asks if she can go there but she's 15 now so she's too old. They are gentle, fun, and very kid centric. My daughter always walked out of there happy and always loved going to the dentist. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dayspring Pediatric Dentistry:-)

Kids First in Elgin. It's a bit of a drive, but they are fantastic with the kids!

On recommendation of a good friend we saw Dr Janis, walked out the most upset I have ever been. Very rough and forceful with my son.Our entire family sees Dr Faklaris in South Elgin and they are fabulous and trained for all ages.

Miller Dentistry 404 Randall Rd in South Elgin. The staff is the sweetest group of ladies and they're all very gentle!

We really like Kids First in Elgin. It might be a bit of a drive since they moved. They are now off of Randall almost to 90. Both the doctors are really great and my kids love it! Plus their new office is really nice.

They are great! Dr Kyle is gone, he's in south America with his family, being a dentist there. I don't remember the name of the new dentists but we've seen both and been happy with them.
