Needed a good pediatrician near Schaumburg, any recommendations?
Emily R. replied:
I go to Dr Mike & Charles Slavik--we really like them. They are on Meachem and Algonquin in Schaumburg. Here is there number (847) 303-0904. They always call back in a timely manner--especially during nights and weekends, and they always can fit us in, and we are never rushed during our appointments

the AAP recommendation that palivizumab prophylaxis be limited to infants born before 29 weeks gestation, and to infants with certain chronic illnesses like congenital heart disease or chronic lung disease. For all infants, particularly those born at preterm, the AAP emphasizes that it’s important to minimize the risk of infection with RSV and other viruses by offering breast milk, immunizing members of the household against influenza, practicing good hand and cough hygiene, avoiding smoke exposure, limiting attendance in large group child care during the first winter season whenever possible, and avoiding contact with anyone who is ill - See more at: http://www.aap.org/en-us/about-the-aap/aap-press-room/pages/AAP-Updates-Recommendations-for-Use-of-Palivizumab-Against-RSV.aspx#sthash.EjMq5 kQ0.dpuf
