My friend Vip Singla. He works for Glenbrook Pediatrics, 2551 Compass Rd., Ste. 100 Glenview, Illinois 60026. Phone is 847.729.6445. Website is http://www.glenbrookpediatrics.com/ Great with kids (of all ages, including the full-grown, "adult" variety). Solid guy. You'd love him.
Tony L. replied:
Peter Lechman in the Glen is ours and we've been happy.
Jennie J. replied:
How about in HP? Pediatric Partners is great!
Brooke G. replied:
Peter Lechman in the glen. We started with him in the city and love him. Followed him from city to NB to glenview.
Hey does anyone know if you deliver in a hospital, if you can request that the baby not be taking away to the nursery? I know they usually take them two hours after...
Hope S. replied:
Kim I've been looking into the unassisted home birth... I can't sell my husband on it yet, but my friend Diana Guzman has had three babies and is willing to assist. I'm just so worried about making sure we get everything out, and how soon after would the baby & I need to be seen by a doctor ect. Do we call 911 if there's any issues? So many questions ahhhhh!!!! Lol

I am looking for a new pediatrician in Glenview/ Northbrook area. A year ago we transferred to town and country and 3 times they misdiagnosed my child. 1 time they told...
Laura S. replied:
I would say the only drawback with NS Peds is that they are not part of the hospital system so can't access all those electronic records. I am still a Northshore patient and love all the things you can manage and access online. Dr. Ohr sounds great.
Dori M. replied:
I agree with Laura too. Dr. Ohr works with several of my clients and I only hear the best things! Dr. Canal and I went to high school together and he is excellent too.
Ron K. replied:
Dr Taxman they are behind NBC mall. His group also has an office I the city.
Catherine H. replied:
Dr. Waskow and the rest of Pediatric Associates closed their Glenview office. Now they are only in Wilmette. Used to be so convenient!
Julie Y. replied:
Love and adore Dr. Mark Swislow - in Skokie across from Lifetime Fitness in North Shore building. He has been fabulous for my kids for 20 years!
Jill G. replied:
Agree…have gotten way too big… Pediatric Partners in HP is good…Or were…we are going to "big people" docs now...
Dori M. replied:
Dr. Susan Sirota or Dr. Laurie Hochberg in Highland Park at Pediatric Partners.
Laura S. replied:
It's in Evanston, but we love North Suburban Pediatrics. Dr. Christian is great, most of the Drs. we've seen are. I also switched from a large practice that was NorthShore U. Health that misdiagnosed my son's chronic sinusitis (that he eventually needed surgery for) and blew me off, basically inferred he was faking to avoid school and chores. An allergist finally diagnosed him (Dr. Yasmin Bilamoria in Buffalo Grove. She's great too). Good luck and think you are making the right move.
Laura J. replied:
Usually I'm not a big fan of "hospital practices" but we have been very happy at Northshore Glenview office. Dr Susie Ohr is our primary---but Dr Canal (male doc) is excellent---so much so that many of the nurses at Evanston Hospital use him for their kids (found that our when Will was in the neonatal unit). Dr Ohr has called us from her kids soccer practices before (she has nine year old twins) to follow up. It was also helpful recently when Meredith was in ER. They had access to all her records.
Robin S. replied:
They have 1 male dr.. Dr Shapiro.
Aine B. replied:
Dr Shoshana Waskow. She has an office in glen view and one in wilmette.. She is amazing! We miss her since moving to the city..
Suzanne C. replied:
We go to Children's Heathcare Associates in the city but I know they have one in Northbrook
Christy J. replied:
Ditto Associated pediatrics in Northbrook!!
Carrie C. replied:
We go to Associated Pediatric Partners. They have an office in Northbrook and Buffalo Grove. So far we are happy with them.
Peter M. replied:
Dr. Gries of Glenview Pediatrics located in the Glen!!! Call Elizabeth Nestos about him, he took care of me until I was 18 and is the best
Shabnam S. replied:
Erin, we still see Dr Graboski at Glenbrook Pediatrics in the Glen. She's fantastic. Doesn't rush through the visit and doesn't go crazy about prescribing Meds but does as needed. She's wonderful. All docs there are very competent
Elizabeth N. replied:
YES!!!! Dr. Grabowski sees my trio...she is AMAZING. Very straight-forward and thorough!! My older sons saw Dr. Gries...LOVE him, as well! Glenbrook Peds is a great practice...going there some 12 years now!
Josh K. replied:
Glenbrook Pediatrics
Blair K. replied:
Erin, I triple or quadruple endorse Glenbrook Pediatrics. Also, they have a new young, male doctor there - Dr. Singla- who just came from the Children's Medical Center of Dallas which is terrific. He's been great for our unplanned sick visits and has great bedside manner with the kids and parents. I'm thinking we'll switch our boys to him as they get older/preteen if they ask for a male doctor.
Looking for recommendations for a pediatrician in the glenview/northbrook area.
Erica L. replied:
We go to a family practice in Northbrook, the kids see Dr. Stephen Tassler. He is great! Zoe has asthma and it started when she was 4 weeks old...he was not only incredible with her, but with me also, I was a mess. The office staff is also really great too.
Marnie L. replied:
Dr Sana Attar, if she's still here. Was in Libertyville-if that's not too far. She was amazing!
Mindy I. replied:
I go to Dr Tesslers office to but see Dr Caplan as a primary. But my son sees Dr Eirlich in Deerfield. Ask the question do nurses or dr answer questions and what the hours are. Those are my two big things
Steffanie D. replied:
We love Dr. DiMaggio at Town and Country in the Glen!
Debbie F. replied:
Dr. Paul Goldstein and Dr. Golan have an office in glenview...we go to one in arlington heights, they also visit highland park and evanston to meet the little ones when they are born.
Nancy F. replied:
Town & Country in Glenview. (We go to their city office.) I haven't had a bad doc there, they are all great! Most of the time we see Dr. Polin or Dr. Blade
Sven D. replied:
We also see Dr. DiMaggio at Town and Country. Great hours for the practice as well (the support staff and hours are quite important).
Frannie G. replied:
Town and Country has been great for us, too! Started in the city and transitioned to the Glenview office. Open 7 days/week and they have hours into the evening which has been super helpful for scheduling appointments. We see Dr. Dion.
