ISO recommendations for a bakery in the area to make cupcakes for my daughters 1 year. Reasonably priced, we have a big family so we are looking at around 65 cupcakes....

If you're willing to go to Osseo and like to patronize small businesses I recommend talking to Stephen at Luna's Specialty Bakery in Osseo. He did my son's first & third birthday cakes. For his first birthday he made us a "1" shape out of cupcakes, for his 3 rd he made us 2 Thomas the Train cakes.
In search of a recommendation of a bakery that delivers cakes in the elk river area. I was going to order nothing bundt cakes but they won't deliver that far.

Buttercream Creations, maybe? Not sure if they deliver, but their cakes look fabulous!
I'm wondering if there are any holiday craft / vendor sales in the area? My gluten-free bakery Mixin It Up wants to get our name out there a bit for the holidays

I'd like to start shopping at Aldi and wondered if folks could share their experiences. Anything in particular to avoid [meat, produce, bakery]? Any tips or hints? ...
Jamie R. replied:
I don't think they take checks but all other cards are accepted. Even American Express.

Watch where food products are made, some things are imported from China. The meat isn't Usa raised, states US inspected, it is NOT the USDA, I don't know what regulations the Aldi inspectors follow. Always checked the general merchandise you can find some great stuff for cheap. The chocolate by Choceur made in Germany is the best ever, especially the plain white. Toiletries and cleaners are not any great savings. And by the way the ice cream is made by BLUE BUNNY, but you didn't here it from me.

Aldis is great for most things, but I buy my Meat at Elk River Meat or Coburns. Aldis does not always have everything I need, so I go there first. Their snack items are the best, and unbelievably cheaper than anywhere else!
