I recommend the book The Boglehead’s Guide to a Three-fund Portfolio. It will tell you exactly what to do for retirement and it’s a very easy read. I would read that first, and if it doesn’t satisfy you, *then* hire a advisor. The ebook only cost me about $10 if I remember correctly.
