I don't know - I was with Diener for about 17 years or so and just switched to a female group in Dorsey. Depends on what you're going for, of course! Dr. Leonardi, 410-997-4780Crossroads Medical Group.

Parry Moore, M.D. at Crossroads Medical in Dorsey Hall. Been going for about 6 years and he is now the primary care for our family as well. 410-997-7660...I believe he is still accepting new patients. Hope that is helpful smile emoticon
Recommendations for a general practitioner in Howard co (ellicott city/columbia area). I think after 7 years of living 45min away from mine, it's time to get a new one.
Teri P. replied:
I go to the Columbia Medical Practice & see Sandy Nettina. I've also seen some of the other PA's when it was an emergency & she wasn't available. I like that it's a group that they can do that. http://www.cmpractice.com/

Looking for a primary care physician for my three sons who have transitioned from pediatrics; one who accepts care first/bcbs insurance.
Zaneb B. replied:
Hi. I'm a pediatrician in Columbia and I have a new doc who just joined me who sees adults. She does see people of all ages, so she might be a great fit. Our office phone number is 4438329260. I can give you both of our cells and email if you PM me.

Deborah C. replied:
Try Pio Poblete at Maryland Primary Care. He's a very good basic doctor and can usually fit people it.
Lindsey B. replied:
Dr Polgar at JHCP on Stevens forest. Love her. If you call to try and get an apt it's probably a month out through the apt service. If that doesn't work for you get ahold of one of her RNs or other staff and they should be able to get you an earlier apt.

Angie B. replied:
Good luck, Becky Kirkman There is a serious shortage of primary care docs, and many of them locally aren't taking new patients. For a number of reasons there aren't as many new doctors going into primary care, and the problem is exacerbated now because a lot of people have health insurance for the first time and are looking for primary care. I hope you can find one to keep! The situation is contributing to longer waits at the urgent care centers and spilling over into the Emergencv Department at the hospital, too.
Shannon S. replied:
If you go beyond primary care, I hear great things about the Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital downtown.
Louise G. replied:
I also recommend the docs from the hand center at Union Memorial. They're all very good and are not quick to jump to surgery. Dr. James Higgins is my doctor. They have an office off 108 near Roots but I'm not sure whether Dr. Higgins sees patients there. If your plan allows you to skip primary and go directly to a specialist, its worth it. Your primary likely - and should - refer you to a specialist.
