The Public Sewer was installed in 1963 on Mac Alpine. Not all of my neighbor's houses were built, but the ones that were mostly converted. By Law, we are not allowed to be on Septic, so we have to pay to be converted. I don't feel lucky! It's a fortune . (But we are lucky that the Septic didn't cave with anyone on it and that it's cooler & the windows are closed!) but it is very surprising, that it never needed to be emptied during our 11 years here? Who knows why? We did hire a plummer that spent 4-5 hours looking for a second septic, but the conclusion was, we only had one.
