I agree with Allison Rice. Puppy Power/Paws n Effect is excellent. .All positive behavioural training. Sam is amazing and is literally a dog whisperer We take her classes and have had some privates with her. She runs classes out of Dreamland equine and pet store. She also runs social classes there on Saturdays for 6$ You could check it out and then decide if you like her. You won't be disappointed. http://www.puppypowerdogtraining.com/

Leslie Marshall at the Puppy Tutor is excellent. Positive reinforcement training. I know her personally and she is a devoted trainer. http://thepuppytutor.com/
My two small dogs have been getting so much worse when people come to the door and I need to get a handle on it. I don't mind a few warning barks...but they just won't...

You could do a meeting with Leslie Marshall. She will come to your house and do an assessment followed by instructions on how to deal with it. She runs "The Puppy Tutor", she's a Vet Tech and she breeds Min. Schnauzers so she has experience with little Dog noise lol https://www.facebook.com/ThePuppyTutor/?fref=ts

There's also Jay Shute in Guelph. He has dreads too, Kylie Van Horne. Do you know him? http://www.shutetraining.com/Shute_Balanced_Dog_Training/Dog_Help.html Great guy.
Anyone have a recommendation for a dog trainer? I am looking for someone who would come to my house and help with my 1.5 year old dog. It seems he forgot his manners....
