Recommendations for a local mechanic to work on a 76 Dodge Dart Bought a car in April and it's just been sitting in my friends garage in Elyria. He fixes mopar as his...

Sorry, I don't have any recommendations out in Elyria. However, one of the beauties of a '70 s era domestic car is the relative ease of working on them. These repairs are not that complicated. You can have these repairs done by literally any mechanic. If you're going to own this car, you should learn how to do some of this stuff. My suggestion is to do the work yourself using your friend as tech support. Have him order the parts and you do as much of the work as you can on your own. When you get stuck, ask him for help. You get it done sooner and cheaper and he gets to focus on his other customers. ...just a suggestion.

Give The Swedish Solution in Orange Village a call. They specialize in European stuff, but might be able to point you in the right direction.

You want to pay someone to work on a car, despite the fact that the car doesn't legally belong to you? I'd lock up the title situation before you spend a dime. After that, there's a little shop hidden downtown at 17 th and St. Clair called One Stop Auto. I love those guys. Bob's Garage on Mentor Ave. in Painesville has also taken good care of me in the past through some pretty gnarly repairs.

"Fuel intake" and "breaks"? Now you're just making shit up. Also, what in the blue hell are you doing - having paid to receive a car in April, and not titling it to your name?
