I recently switched to Dr Hession on Rt 5. She is very nice and I am very happy there. I did have to switch from Dr Starkey on Hazard Ave. I did like him but the front office staff is not good and 1 of them is quite rude. It is very hard to get anything you need from the office. Even other Dr's offices have trouble with the office staff. It's really too bad because I did like Dr Starkey himself....but a good Dr also needs good staff.

Problem with Dr. Shah is that he has 'expanded' his specialty to cosmetics - botox, laser hair removal, etc. A good PCP doesn't split time and space with the vanity crap.

I was a HHC patient for years and years, I made hubby come over he got the original partner with Dr. Lindberg (can't think of his name, O'Brien?) then the lady Dr. came in who was a ding dong and got let go, then Dr. K and we expressed how difficult it had been to retain a good Dr. then Dr. K left - we were so upset, so he moved to Dr. Lindberg and no joke I had to pull teeth to get him into her because we were so sick of seeing him ditched by Dr.'s - she ended up retiring weeks later. I LOST my poop and left them. I see Dr. Ian Tucker in Somers, so does my husband. I have to tell him to focus and chill sometimes but that is a good thing that he does and he is no upset when you tell him to, he listens to me and respects my needs and wants, I truly appreciate him. Good luck this is an awful thing to go through when you've had someone for so long, my husband was beyond upset after being punted to a billion people.

Dr Lindberg was ok but was passive aggressive. She was with Dr O Brian years back on Elm St. Dr G and Dr K left HHC.Dr K was a good doctor but didn't last too long at HHC Dr Ghumman was wonderful and now he is with a family practice in East Granby.
