We have openings for children as well. Our Enfield Center now accepts children twelve months through school age, and our WL center takes infants six weeks to twelve years old. Our website is www.newenglandpreschool .com and you can print out a job application and enrollment application for children. Either bring them to one of the centers, or fax them to 860-627-9702. I will call everyone back immediately!! Being a Mom is great! You do not need a degree, although we give you lots of opportunities to further your education in this field! Like · 2 · Reply · Sep 19

I am a Pre-K teacher at Bright Beginnings on King Street and I absolutely adore my job! I have never known a childcare establishment to be more professional, immaculate and loving. We are focused on the needs of every child's success, from infancy to school age. Even with 12 years of college and a B.S in elementary education, I have learned and grown so much under the amazing guidance provided by the owner, team management and fellow teachers I am blessed to work with. I would NOT stear you wrong by saying Bright Beginnings is a shining star in terms of unsurpassed and incredible care and education for every child we are blessed with!

Anyone have recommendations for free or VERY low cost preschools in town for a 3 year old?
Bob S. replied:
My wife recommends First Step Nursery School in E.Longmeadow (not free, or necessarily cheap), but about $305/month for M/W/Friday 9-2. My wife says it's worth looking into and the drive. It's on Maple St, near KinderCare. 413-525-2381.

My daughter went to Enfield Public preschool - it's only $600 for the entire school year but they fill up fast.http://www.enfieldschools.org/district_depts/pupil_services/preschool_registration

My other son had went to Eli Whitney for preschool. Not sure where it is now because of the schools switching grades. That one is not free, and I can't remember how much I paid but I really liked that one too.
Bob S. replied:
Actually Doreen Streeter Kibbe she did say FREE.

We really like Little Angels in Hazardville. It starts at $236.50/ month for 3 half days. They also have 3 full days, 5 half days, or 5 full days. They have before & after care for $7/hr if you need that. The teachers & other staff are very loving. I even called once to check on my daughter and the secretary brought the phone right down to the classroom so I could speak directly to her teacher.
Scott L. replied:
Our Redeemer Preschool on North Rd is the best. All 3 of my kids went there.
