Hotels near Erie? Family coming in town this week, need a pet-free sleeping environment. Are there any good B&B nearby or something I wouldn't see on hotels.com?

Good morning! Hubby and I are taking a quick trip to Santa Fe this weekend— does anyone have any good hotel recommendations and places to see when we go? Thank you!

Santa Fe is one of our favorite places, we were even engaged there. We have stayed almost everywhere and our favorite is Casa de Cuma bed and breakfast. Sweet little place rich in history with wonderful owners and delicious breakfasts. It’s within walking distance of the plaza as well. La Fonda is great but kind of noisy and crowded.

Also eat breakfast at Tia Sophia’s Best breakfast hands down At night there is a fun little nightclub at the sky lounge(I think that’s it) Head into Taos one day, it’s like a little Estes. And the Loretto Chapel, it’s $3 to get in but it’s totally worth it.

Looking for recommendations for the best alpine slides for boys ages 7 and 9. We want to make a weekend trip for my son's birthday. Hotel recommendations also needed.
Dawn R. replied:
I believe Glenwood Springs Adventure Caverns also has a Groupon discount right now.
Brian C. replied:
We have done both. Glenwood slide is not an alpine slide...more like an individual Rollercoaster. Winter Park is a traditional alpine slide. They both have great other activities too. You can't go wrong either way.

Winter Park! Best Western Alpenglo is a nice modestly priced place in central WP. Go to Hernandos for pizza!!!
