Somebody recommend me a vet in Erie. I've already talked to The Animal Clinic and Glenwood Pet Hospital.

Camboro is in Edinboro but is amazing. They're longtime friends of our family too and do an amazing job. http://www.camboro.com/

I'm all about camboro too, but Andria is right on the money with Erie vets I've known Dr. Jeff's son a long time, good people and he's taken excellent care of my friends pets!
Wren B. replied:
I used to take my cat to camboro when I lived in Edinboro. They are nice but pricey and 20 mikes from my home. I've heard good things about Glenwood too and they underpriced Animal clinic. I've called East Erie like 2,376 times and the only times they call me back I haven't been able to answer. Been going through phone tag with them since MAY.
Wren B. replied:
I will call these places tomorrow. Got 4 different quotes today and applied for Care Credit which apparently most of the vets take.
Adrienne E. replied:
I trust Dr Lyon at the Anna Shelter in Corry. As long as it is dogs or cats, he is amazing. They are super affordable also
Wren B. replied:
I used to have Dr. Lyon at Camboro. Had an appt earlier this summer but was babysitting for a day longer than expected at a place with no cell phone reception and no long distance on house phone so I couldn't call to cancel. Don't know if he'd schedule me again with the no-show. Plus Corry is EVEN FURTHER than Edinboro. I'm sure there is decent affordable vet within 10 min of my house. I've heard nothing but good things about Glenwood and they're significantly cheaper than Animal Clinic (which is closest to my work) and while they're not out of the way, driving the "Peach Jam" is annoying but worth bit for good affordable care.
Anyone know a good place to just get a dog washed!!! Need it done when she gets picked up from the vet and bing 6 months pregnant doesn't make bathing a 40lb dog easy!!
Jenny M. replied:
I've heard good things about D.C. Grooming. Dayna lives in Country Meadows and does pet grooming out of her home. https://www.facebook.com/DCGrooming
Jenny M. replied:
My mom uses Waggin' Wheels. They are a mobile service that comes to your house. She does all of the washing & grooming out of her vehicle. Her name is Kristin, and her number is 720-317-7477. She's actually at my mom's house in Lafayette right now. Perhaps she'd be able to swing over if she's not too booked today. You can tell her Karen Bacon referred you... maybe that will help! ;)

He saved our one dogs life and when our honey girl got really sick he gave it his all to try and save her. She had internal bleeding with kidney failure.

I LOVE Camboro! Of course it is in Edinboro! But they are super duper! Dr. Rummel is great. But them again I've seen them all and they are all wonderful and work together. If they are unsure of treatment they always seem to ask dr.Rummel! That shows great team work and concern!

Christine V. replied:
Glenwood IS good. I used to take mine there when I lived in Erie.
Laurie F. replied:
I would let Erica Redmond operate on me! I love her! She would just be the Glenwood kittie vet if they let her. She loves our kitties as much as we do. One time when she had to operate on Agador, she went to visit him during the night ( no extra charge) She just wanted to make sure he was ok. They board the sicker animals at the Pet Emergency Center where they will have 24 hour supervision, but she still went in. Jan and I both had to be to work before the vet opened the next day, so Dr. Redmond stopped to pick up Agador and return him to Glenwood for us to pick up later that day.

Kat C. replied:
Not in erie, but Dr. Chapman at Union City Pet Hospital is the most wonderful small animal vet ever. He is very reasonable, trustworthy, and extremely gentle. It's the only small animal vet I will ever use as long as I am in the area. He will never try to talk you into doing anything that he doesn't find absolutely necessary. He is very good with dogs. Soft spoken and very gentle with them. Go there!
Hi. Can I get you opinion on the best veterinarian and best dog groomers in Erie? Folks where I can get an appointment today or tomorrow would be appreciated. Thanks!
Marsha S. replied:
We've used Foxtail Pines for vet for the last several years. Excellent facility, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and they talk to humans as humans.
