For an upscale Mexican experience try Frida's in Overland Park or Port Fonda in Westport. American is pretty broad little hard to narrow that one down. For a nicer Chinese place Bo Lings is a good option, as is the red snapper your ward parkway mall.

Wolf meal prep could be ok. Also maybe a Ringo whole foods, they do a family meal of chicken, veggies and rice or potatoes with a giant salad for $25.
