https://www.facebook.com/NO-Paws-left-behind-1385837741719552/ This is a very overburdened shelter north of Okanogan WAY off the beaten path in WA and they need help getting their dogs adopted. They have a number of pitties. It is the only shelter/rescue in their area.

We have tons of pitties sitting in shelters and rescues. You might have better luck with petango.com many of the shelters around here use a management program that lists them there automatically. Petfinder is manual entry and I'm sure many don't even make it on there.

We adopted from Forgotten Dogs Rescue - they're mostly bully types, and are listed on petfinder, but they're here on FB too: https://www.facebook.com/forgottendogsrescue/?fref=ts

This is Ruby, from the Casino Rd Apartment fire. She was already crate trained and her family carried her out of the building in her crate, giving her a safe place to be waiting for rescue. https://www.animalhumanesociety.org/training/crate-training-your-puppy

Pilchuck vet clinic or any ER vet for that matter. However I not 100% sure why you feel defensive over the shelter taking a lost dog? It's their job and this group works with the shelter to make sure that dogs get to their rightful owners. 99% of owners check with the shelter 1 st! So please if you don't want to give the dog up make sure you file a report with the shelter about the found dog. It's your responsibility as a finder to try to find the owner in all ways possible this includes informing the shelter! Thanks, admin
UPDATE: LEO WAS FOUND!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH, SO RELIEVED, I LOVE THESE GROUPS SO MUCH!!!!!!! HE'S SAFE AND SOUND!!! <3
