depending on your injury, you may need to go beyond local. I spent 4 weeks at Harborview with a spinal fracture 20 years ago and 8 months in a body cast. Advil is the only thing necessary to deal with occasional pain now. I highly recommend UW Hospital ortho if you have a serious spinal injury.

Try Scenar Therapy at Sky River Natural Health (360) 793-0206 (Sultan). I had severe pain (believe 2 herniated discs) and could not even walk for a few days and the Scenar helped immensely.

They used to be awesome but the last two years they have morphed into a cookie cutter medical facility where they get you in (and out) on time, but diagnose based off of a law of averages and don't look hard at issues that may fall outside of the "normal" textbook condition for the symptoms you have.

I go to the Evergreen Woman's Center, it's at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland. It's awesome that it's at the hospital cause if I'm there for a check up and I just so happen to be in labor they can wheel me on over haha! I love it though, not one complaint:)

Are you going to try for a baby? I can recommend Dr Shoup (sp) uw shoreline location. She is amazing and the best chair side manner I have ever delt with at a doctors. And fyi the iyd removal does not hurt coming out.:)

I may be biased because I worked at VSC for 12 years and know Dr. Peterson very well.......she is FANTASTIC. Her medical skills are hands down the best around. Now, to be fair, SVS is also a phenomenal hospital. You can't go wrong with either of these options. I highly encourage you to at least have the initial consultation with one of them, to discuss all those factors and get an idea of cost, timeline, etc. Good luck with her!
