Sorry, just saw this post. Alaska Interior Construction 590-9116 remodeled our bathroom a year or so ago and did a fantastic job. A bit expensive, but outstanding work and wonderful people to work with.

Last year Patty said they called an exterminator for their house (had a serious carpenter ant problem, said it sounded like rain when she put her ear to the floor, and they poured out when she opened it up) and she told me they used a backpack sprayer to spray permethrin around the outside of the house and that did the trick (but was pretty pricey). Matt and I purchased a small sprayer and ordered some permethrin concentrate and have had success spraying ourselves. If you decide to try that route, we've got a lot of the chemical left.
