Dairy Isle That was my favorite place for ice cream growing up.. The Dole Whip Ice cream they had was AMAZING!!!!! I <3 their shredded chicken sandwiches their french fries and their fried mushrooms YUM!!!!! I have not been in there in a long long time:( but I plan on returning for their fried mushrooms and their shredded chicken sandwiches I so miss that place as I no longer live in Newark....

The Maple Inn had the BEST pecan cake -- yummy! Also, the Valley Bowling Lanes had the best Hawaiian cole slaw. The Carousel Room had the best liver & onion -- went there for my prom, but didn't order the liver! LOL

Well I have to say then Center Cafe as well. My Dad was friends with the Annarinos and we went there alot. They had the best spagetti and meatballs I have ever had. Sure was a sad day when it closed!
