I really liked 2 men and a truck. I've heard bad things from other people about them, but both times I have hired them they worked fast and took great care of my stuff. It was around $300 to $400 both times, but I didn't have them move everything and I don't have a lot. The little stuff and super valuable lightweight stuff we moved ourselves, but they moved the furniture and the heavy boxes.

Don't use All My Sons Moving. They never arrived. I shouldn't have rescheduled, but I did. Ended up costing like 25% more than they quoted and those bitches weren't even his sons.

Home Depot rents trucks. The movers already live in your house!

Brendamore Moving moved us back in August. They were quick, honest, and reasonable on price. Stay away from 2 men and a truck. Ripped me off for over $1,000 a couple of years ago.

It cost me less than 300 to go from a house in Milford to a house in Cheviot. This is the way to go. I'll never move without hiring pros again. I didn't even have to empty my dresser drawers. I can't remember who I used but two things to look out for: 1. Only use a mover who charges door-to-door. Many charge office-to-door-to-door-to-office. 2. Look out for those who charge extra to go up and down steps.

www.movecheapcincinnati.com these guys are awesome! I just did a move similar to what you're describing with them and it ended up being around $200 for them plus the truck

Guys! Figured from some comments that it was a crapshoot with some companies mentioned below having mixed reviews online & it seems that way with a lot of movers. We are moving into our first house and want to keep extra expenses low so it seems like D&R movers was our best bet... $200 for 2 hours, door to door.. /u/DrIcyHands made a good point about the trip charges or whatever they call getting paid for time not moving our stuff. /u/Janedoe2893 - the situation of movers not showing up is what's scary to me. Hope this doesn't happen though I saw one review saying this! D: I will report back on how these guys are because they beat the competition by $50-250.

Homestars.com not reddit. I have a moving subreddit and people are always tooting their own horns there, spamming in hopes of booking work... 2 men and a truck, in most cities are shit. I go in to clean their mess all the time.
