Retiling the bathroom? Why? May be better to save up and do a bang up job. My suggestion is that you live with it for awhile then ask to see some Madisons with nice updates. Grimsley Renovations has done several. Also Gary Witt.

Darcie, I forgot to leave a list, but we used Jarrod Grimsley generally when we could pin him down (which is hard because he's sought after and busy). But he does excellent work, cares, and is not too expensive. Greg Drone for electrical and some general stuff. He's reasonable, knowledgeable on Parkfairfax, great with electrical, and lives there. And Smarmak (pronounced Sh'Mark) for plumbing. He is way reasonable for plumbing and tile work. And Andrew Acosta painted our bedroom recently. He's good.
