Any recommendations for an OBGYN in the Indianpolis area? Looking for a doctor who will take possible endometriosis seriously. Thanks!

I am also in Indy! Haven’t found a specialist but I’ve had two laps here. I do like my OB even though she isn’t a specialist she did one of laps and my c section. Her name is Donna Tisch at community north. Please let me know if you do find someone. My endo has come back full force after I stopped breastfeeding.

If you are up for a drive, Dr. Carlton Lyons in South Bend is amazing. I drove four hours from Terre Haute to see him, and he’s the first doctor out of five (and ten years of pursuing my symptoms) to take me seriously. I left his office after my first appointment with a diagnostic lap already scheduled. Also bonus — he does excision. It’s probably a little bit of a wait to get in to see him, but it was entirely worth the wait AND the drive for me. Changed my life. Best of luck to you! Hope you get some relief soon.
Please post anon: I know this has been asked before but I can't find it now. I need recommendations for a doctor that can help me figure out my son's temper...

We used Indy orthopaedic (across from Community North on Shadeland) for Becky's dislocated knee. We've seen every doctor (practically) at Methodist Sports Medicine. I was happy with both.
Bernie H. replied:
I am on hold with Methodist Sports Medicine right now. They have a peds guy. We'll see. Thanks, Marci!
Laurie A. replied:
Dr. Peter Sallay@Methodist Sports Medicine. Has operated on many sports notables. Shoulder specialist.
Robin M. replied:
Dr. Wilson at Community North. He did Kacie's shoulder surgery - great Christian man.
Hope M. replied:
Dr. Kunkel with OrthoIndy is highly recommended as well. He only does shoulders when I worked there.
Deborah G. replied:
Dr. Joseph Bellflower is a great pediatric orthopedic. Gray saw him many years ago when he stretched the ligaments in his knee. I can also recommend Dr. Sallay. He does not specialize in pediatrics, but he does specialize in shoulders.:)
Cheri G. replied:
Dr. Stephen Kolias with Ortho Indy. Christian man. Not peds only but has treated both Tim and Cody. Is at their Fishers location certain day each week.

Juanita Allbright, MD. She's now at the St V Fishers hospital. She was my old physician before she moved and then moved back. I also recommend Karen Wendowski, MD- located on Naab Rd off 86 th. She was my old doctor as well before I moved to IU Health. I highly recommend both!
