Anybody have a recommendation for a place to stay in Fredricksburg? I want to take my mom on a road trip for some shopping.

If you want unique, and away from Main Street, but only about 5 minutes south, on the river, http://www.riverroadranchresort.com/ We stayed in the peanut silo. It was the actual peanut silo in Fredrickbergs for years. Super nice people. They have 4 or maybe 5 places you can stay right there in one place. The silo is a 2 bed that's smaller but really cool! It's ideal for quiet evenings and close enough to be in town in a few minutes. A bunch of animals roaming around too, the donkey will come up and stand next to you sitting on the porch. He's older and very protective. :)
Does anyone know of a hotel or bed and breakfast here in town? Its inconvenient having family stay in Grapevine or farther when they visit.

Hotels in Lewisville south of Vista Ridge. When our AC went out we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and were very impressed.

A nice little B&B would be wonderful. If even for couples to get away for a night and relax without having to worry about travel time out of town if one or both of you are putting a lot of hours in at work. We've stayed at Great Wolf Lodge with our kiddos for a quick getaway but a place with just hubby and I would be awesome in town

Hyatt Place in Grapevine is nice

My husband and I have always said that Flomo needs hotels! We joke that we're going to open a limited service hotel in Flomo! When my parents and inlaws visit, they stay 12 minutes away at Marriott Springhill Suites in G.V. right at G.V. Mills Mall. We like it b/c we crash breakfast with them there!
