So. I have the most amazing dentist. You will pay out of pocket but worth it. Dr. Shelby smith in Antioch. 925-755-5115. She works with special needs kids all the time and uses a service dog to help calm kids down. My son is autistic and wouldn't let anyone clean his teeth.

Dr Anne priest... She a an md but also an OD... Her entire office is amazing, not just interested in the ailment of the day but how you are in general whole body very holistic approach... She also can offer natural medicine remedies if that's the direction that you want to go.. She's also an acupuncturist. Both my husband and I see her!

Kristina Johnson my kids see DR DelMar at rainbow Children's clinic in Rocklin and our referrals have never been a problem I love him because before we had a diagnosis he was not afraid to give any referral to help get answers and he will always personally follow up

We have anthem blue cross HMO and we use all UC Davis doctors and have no problem. We also have medi-cal waiver as secondary. We love love love Dr Nowicki who is at the UC Davis MIND but he also has a private practice so you can pay out of pocket if you want to see him immediately. He is a developmental pediatrician and he has been incredible in helping 3 out of 4 of my kids all with unique issues including autism and ADHD.

My son has both those diagnosis and he sees Dr Yu in Roseville with Community Psychiatry. I've been happy with him so far and it's been almost a year. Like the post above said Dr Nowiki in Davis is suppose to be amazing I just can not afford to go there.

Trina, Terra Nova takes our insurance. You'd just need to be willing to have your son see a therapist. Dr. Dillhion has been a great psychiatrist! Our therapist processed the referral and we has an appt within two weeks. You may have to go through Children's Access team, but I can give you their number, and/or Terra Nova's number.
