My sons rescue dog needs surgery because he ate something he wasn't suppose to. Anyone know any low cost vets in the area. Er vet says surgery will be about 4000 dollars...

Affordable Pet care may be cheaper, they are in Cedar Park http://www.apc-vet.com I also find Balcones Animal Hospital to be cheaper too http://www.yelp.com/biz/balcones-animal-hospital-austin Hope his pooch is okay

Hill country vets removed a tumor from my pug last week and it was reasonable. http://hillcountryvet.vetsuite.com/Templates/ModernElegance.aspx

Balcones Animal is amazing. They are family owned and old school vets. They will most definitely work with you if cost is an issue.

On a serious note, which local vet does everyone use? I think we're paying too much in Panther Creek. Thanks!

I take one of my dogs to Bear Branch Animal Hospital on corner of Woodlands Parkway and 2978, and I'm transferring my other dog to there too. MCAS and a lot of foster peeps take their pets there - great service and very reasonable!!

Every clinic in The Woodlands is overcharging:( I am a pet sitter and rescue, I hear good things about Conroe Vet Clinic. If you are just looking for low cost spay/neuter or vaccines, etc Texas Litter Control is a good place. I personally use Village Vet (Dr. Moore) in Sterling Ridge. I love him, but prefer not to use others in the practice. For financial savings, I would not recommend them though. I have a list of low cost clinic if you'd like them I can send in pm. Let me know:)

Angels is great but if you want to stay a little closer to The Woodlands Bear Branch is also reasonably priced and great vets. They are on 2978 by Woodlands Pkwy.

Traci Smith - I don't know Kelly. Suzanne Juneau - There is a team that practices at Lonestar College. I can hook you up. I also know a good agility instructor but she is in Cypress - quite a drive.

I take mine to Dr. Bulovas@The Animal Hospital of The Woodlands. They are in SR at Bear Branch/Teramont and WP. I feel their prices are reasonable.

We use Kainer on 1488. Dr. Strecker. Always very friendly, consistent prices and nice treatment of our dog. It's country, no foo foo business, hidden pricing or advantage taking like a lot do in TW.
Hey, all! I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a good small-animal vet/clinic in the area? I have two ferrets, one of which I believe to be getting sick!! Any...

I believe Skadron Animal Hospital (on Marie, east of Robert, across from Culvers) does. They do see a variety of different animals, and are experienced in treating exotic animals. http://www.skadronah.vetsuite.com/Tem.../ModernElegance.aspx

Vicky Burdick might know.

Southview is good. Otherwise St. Paul Pet Hospital by the cathedral is awesome. We actually followed our vet from Southview to St Paul Pet when she left. Dr. Emmy Hartman is the best.
Anyone know of a Vet in Va Beach that won't cost us a small fortune?

I go to Kempsville Vet Hospital on Princess Anne Rd. Dr Hewitt is Pookie's doctor and she also treated my old dogs Wlibur and Daisey. Before them I took my Sunshine there. I have been going there since the early 90 s. I have always thought their prices were reasonable and I really trust them with my fur babies. There are others doctors there and they are good, but I just love Dr Hewitt she is awesome .
we need to get our dogs to the vet for check-ups. we've been going to jules, but are thinking we'd like to switch. where does everyone take their dogs? are you happy...

We take all of our pets to Grantline Veterinaryhttp://www.grantlineveterinaryclinic.vetsuite.com/Templates/PetPortalStyle.aspx They are very affordable, the vets are competent and friendly, and they have clinic days on Saturday mornings, when you can go and get shots/microchips, etc with no exam fee (It's just first come, first serve). They were really good with Leia, when she starting ripping her stitches out right after her spay surgery. They stopped the bleeding, and did not charge me any extra money for any of the extra care they had to give her. They have been very loving and concerned with each of my pets, when they have seen them.
